Chapter One Harry Potter Novels & Stories

It is hard to chew it as I try my best to smile innocently at Sky who sighs and pokes my full cheeks, commenting that I look like a chipmunk. “Option one from about two hundred and fifty years ago, the Harry Potter Series.” Lia chimes in, motioning the pile of seven movie sitting on the edge of the coffee table. I laugh, watching as Lia begins to take the first movie – Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone. I movie full of magic and a revolution at the end. Seems fitting to what I am dealing with right now. “What the other option?” Sky asks, wrapping his arm around my shoulder and pressing a kiss on my forehead.

She dry-cleaned all her dirty clothes and got rid of the ones she never wore, but she just took up space in her closet, cleaned her room, and slumped herself on the bed to read a few magic books. Time went by so quickly, and she didn’t know how she ended up falling asleep. She was awakened by a loud knock on the door and someone calling her name.She rubbed her eyes, stretched lazily, and dragged her feet toward the door. She met Kelvin standing at the door with a bouquet of flowers in his hands and an apologetic smile on his face. "Harriet, I just wanted you to know that I am sorry." "I never meant to be a shy friend, okay?" He apologized, walking in.

“Well, I wouldn’t say that I don’t know anything, but I’m still learning.” He reached up and flicked his ear with a smile. “Goblins don’t have pointed ears, we’re also normal-sized, just like you. House elves don’t even exist, so I’m guessing you’re thinking about those little critters from the wizard movies, what are they called?” “Harry Potter, and they were books first. Really good books, by the way, if you’re a reader.” I could feel my face burning with embarrassment. “Muffler breath? Read? Ha! That’s a good one!” Jade said as she set a drink down in front of him.

The room is suddenly submerged in dead silence. Noone was speaking before, but now it seemed as though even breathing was a noise. "Charles! " she finally screams. A sudden whimper is heard from the crowd. Two creatures from behind us ( the witch, me and gaze boy) suddenly fly towards the crowd. Fly!!... They fly!! My life just became a Harry Potter movie!. "Please, don't do this to me. Madre please stop them.... I beg you please!! " a shrill and tiny male voice begins to cry from the crowd. The creatures then pull up a little red haired boy from the crowd.

I felt satisfied with what I was holding and took it out of the closet with me so I could wear it for dinner. After I was done picking out my outfit I decided to go back to the black book that my teacher gave me and try to see if I could teach myself a spell. I held the book in my hand for a few seconds before finally opening it. I could feel a small smile on my face when the book opened easily. When I looked inside the book I saw that there was one spell on the first page of the book. I could feel a frown replace the smile on my face. I couldn’t understand why the spell Shadow was the first thing I had to learn. What does it even do?

Even if the best case scenario was I remain the same, at least I might be able to center myself long enough to not have my magic explode out of me like some kind of cannon. I set the book down on the coffee table before taking my seat on the floor in front of it. The first few pages are introductions to the author and whatever other nonsense I immediately bypass. I don't need to read through twenty pages of some author—whose more than likely dead by now—droning on about the importance of magic balance and blah blah. Flipping to somewhere in the middle,I immediately saw a diagram of a pentagram. "Ohhh…" I mumble to myself and trace my finger over it.

Madelyn looks at me and I smile at her, making her blush. “So, what movie are we watching?” I ask taking the focus off of her. “Well, I think my mate needs to learn what it means to be a Gryffindor, don’t you?” Maeve asks. “Harry Potter it is! I’ll make the popcorn,” I say, showing Madelyn where to sit and grabbing a blanket off a chair to give to her. I don’t know if she’s still cold, but in case she is, I want to make sure she’s warm.
