Chapter 76 is the CHAOS WAR! END OF CHAPTER SEVENTY-FIVE

What could it hurt, after all? "I am a Reaver," I purred, my voice low and smooth. Roxy's eyes widened, a flicker of surprise dancing across her face. I was certain she had stumbled upon the chapters detailing my kind in the book she'd been reading. Three entire chapters were devoted to Reavers, and they were nestled near the beginning of the book. Given that she was now halfway through, I assumed she had already devoured those particular pages.

Who was Kel? Why did saying that name hurt so much? Athena's eyes narrowed for only a fraction of a second before her gentle smile returned. "You've simply overworked yourself." Maybe. As I read, I start to somewhat understand why Brandon chose to walk away from his mate. At first, I thought he was just ashamed of having her see him with that mark on his face, and knew he would have to explain why he has it. Maybe that's part of it, but I think he's also trying to protect her in away.
