Rejecting Fate

Rejecting Fate

Josephine shook her head, her eyes distanced again, “That wasn’t the name that we knew her by.” “What name is that?” “Charis,” she said, but in a smooth and even slightly accented way. “Beautiful name,” I complimented passively. “Like Aurelia?” she glanced at me, her brow raised before she looked away again. “Charis may not have had a wolf, but based off of legend, whatever she lacked in having her other half, she made up for in strength and certain abilities.” Abilities? “What do you mean by abilities?” “Strength,” Josephine shrugged, “Super strength, speed-things that we are naturally gifted with, but the most intriguing was that she was rumored to have limited mentality.”

Real Deal

"Moving on to the next question, what's inspire you to make the previous book and who is your favorite character?" "Well.. I got inspired by my parents love stories a lot." I turned to my dad and he smiled widely. "Ever since my mom passed away, everything changed. I started to write my books just to remember all the beautiful things that my mom taught me. For my favorite character, I can't choose actually but in every female main character, you can see some parts of me in them. They really resemble me in a lot of ways and for the men.. I love the newest character from this new book. I bet you all will love him too." I answered.

Make A Wish

Make A Wish

I cannot stop when my fingers have danced on the black keyboard on the bed. My second novel’s character is named Eros Darwin — as the main character who has multiple personalities. I purposely gave Eros Darwin a psychopathic character in this novel; at least, he still lives in a world of fiction. “Eros,” I whispered as my fingers typed Eros’s name into the paragraphs on the flat screen. “Why is it so cold?” I touched the back of my neck because I felt something cold passing there and then spontaneously turned my face to the open balcony.

" he just chuckled and get back at taking pictures again. "And if it's not because of you, I wouldn't meet Cassandra. " my attention got back to him. "I am thankful cause if it's not my obsession for you, I wouldn't know her. A brat, a very spoiled brat who get things by hook or by crook. I have known her, the two types of her. The Cassandra that everyone know and the the truth Cassandra herself. Her weakness and her strength. And same as you, I fell in love with a fictional character. I fell in love with a villain. Trio of Mates

Trio of Mates

He was my best friend and my first love. The only one who came close to my feelings for Zak was Charlie. Her real name is Charlotte, but she hates that name. She’s been Charlie since she was three. It was a nickname from her grandfather and she wouldn’t respond to any other name. Charlie was like a sister to me until I turned thirteen and noticed how beautiful she was. Her raven black hair flowed in gentle waves down her back and perfectly framed her olive toned skin and gray eyes. Charlie’s petite frame was lithe and curvy, her full breasts and hips giving the perfect amount of femininity to her slim, muscled body. Her full-lips were always in a pout, one that I have fantasized to have

I'm so glad I stumbled across this nook. It's so refreshing compared to the “normal reverse harem” books. In my mind, this is such a more realistic idea of what would happen. My hubby is bi, so I love the representation. Great job, author!

Owlonthewrist, I love you!!! I am awestruck, breathless, aroused ... the list goes on! This is quite honestly one of the best books I have read here on Good Novel. Goodness, I'm dripping! And I read the whole thing in less than a day, lol! Very few typos, too, which made me extremely happy, too :)

My Stepbrother's Dirty Little Secret

My Stepbrother's Dirty Little Secret

Choosing to read something with darker themes and then being upset by those same elements doesn’t quite align, the darkness is part of the story, not separate from it. Secondly, I make a conscious effort to give each character their own identity. I don’t want my characters, male or female, to feel like copies of one another. If anything, their differences are intentional. When you look closely, you’ll see that each of them carries a distinct personality, which keeps the story from feeling repetitive. Thirdly, I always draw inspiration from real-world elements. I research, I explore the darker sides of power, and then I shape it into a more romanticized version for storytelling. But that does

The mafia world you’ve created for us is honestly something truly special, and I can’t thank you enough for sharing it with us. Raph has definitely earned his place among my absolute favorites, but the truth is, every single MMC and FMC you’ve written is unique and great in their own way. Love you!

The Lady And The Billionaire Scoundrel

The Lady And The Billionaire Scoundrel

They let their antagonists step all over them until later on in the story, they gain confidence and step up to the situations life puts in their way. Charlotte, on the other hand, already has a very strong personality from the beginning. She speaks her mind and doesn’t let anyone trample all over her. She isn’t mean, but she won’t let anyone take advantage of her… except for the people she loves. I want her to be real, and real people have shades of grey. They make mistakes. They give in to their desires sometimes. One of Charlotte’s antagonists is herself, and I wanted to explore her personal growth through the conflicts she has thanks to the decisions she makes. What was your inspiration t

Lovely! Absolutely beautiful. I felt drawn to the characters like never before. If for anything, I'm going to keep reading this book to the end. This is perfect and the humor is just on point. Good job, Author. It isn't easy creating a masterpiece like this. Best of luck!

Ack, this is indeed a hidden gem. The narration is so good and the events that happened were so fast that I did not hesitate to scroll to the next chapter. Three men around Charlotte having different stories are more than interesting. Plus, it's of great mystery of whom she will end up with. Awesome

His Reluctant Bride

Aira responded, “It was the writer who created her,” “I remember when we handed him the final draft of the character. He began crying thanking Aira for bringing his character to life. He liked it so much… Apparently, Mila was the Ideolized version of his perfect woman,” Meghan said eying the photo with disdain and Aira rolled her eyes. “Well, you bet it is. That character turned to nerd community upside down. I mean a lot of guys who didn’t have anything to do with gaming started playing just to see her,” Carter said sounding amused.

A Writer's Contract: Twisted Inspiration

"Yeah me too, it feels like we still have something missing I can't put my finger exactly on it... I think it's the main characters," Jun eyed the character description pondering why these characters bothered him so much. It felt as if they lacked something substantial, they seemed... "They feel mechanical..." Iori said interrupting his thoughts, "We made a full profile for each of them, with as many details as we could think about, but, they don't feel alive I can't even picture them in my mind..." "Yes, right! That's it! I've been trying to picture them in my mind but all I see is a listless doll. I can't even relate them to the plot..."

The Romanov Sisters

The Romanov Sisters

- Nicole wasn't supposed to get a big and complex role like she did, but one of you wanted to read from her POV, and when I agreed to write from her POV, the girl kept getting stronger and she just took the villain role so perfectly. - Nicole also has my last name, so she's literally my child. LOL - Ana, Alex and Rasputin are inspired by real people from the Russian history, but Victor, Nicole and Averi are fictional. -The reason why I don't put cast is that I want people to imagine whoever they desire and not to limit their imagination by pictures of actors or actresses. -I guess the story is half-historical and half-fictional based on the characters that got mixed together, thank to scinti

Pertanyaan yang Sering Diajukan

You know, sometimes a character just walks into your head fully formed, and you're just scrambling to keep up. I had this happen with a side character in a story I abandoned years ago—a grumpy baker who only spoke in baking metaphors. Started as a joke, but then I found myself wondering why he was so bitter, pardon the pun. That question led me to give him a backstory about a failed artistic career, and suddenly his precise, methodical bread-making was this quiet act of defiance and grief. The emotional weight didn't come from my initial 'what if,' but from following the weird, specific trail of crumbs the character himself laid down.

The best emotional punches land when the character's internal logic drives the plot, not the other way around. If the inspiration is just a cardboard cutout to hang a theme on, readers can tell. But if you start with someone who feels real to you, even in a silly way, their choices in the story's crucible will generate authentic feelings. My baker's ending wasn't grand; he just finally shared his sourdough starter. It felt huge because it was his language, not mine.
