He turned toward a corner, where Charlene was sitting on a sofa, smoking. However, at that moment, her beautiful eyes were fixed on the wooden book in Deirdre’s direction. She knew about that book. Because when Brendan had spent a great amount of money to purchase it at an auction, many people, who had been trying to please her, had said that the book must be a gift for her. Therefore, she had been looking forward to it for a long time. However, it turned out that Deirdre had it! As fury consumed Charlene, she found this too difficult to bear.

Charles POV A few months back…. I was at the garden, watching my sister play as I read a classic book that I am trying to finish so I could read the next book I have in my bookshelf. I’ve been trying so hard to focus on my book, but Charlie kept on talking to her dolls as they play tea party. I can’t help it, but to close the book that I was reading since I couldn’t even understand what I was reading because my mind kept on drifting to what’s happening to my mom.

The second piece was just the same as the first, but adding more detail and background after they viewed their mistakes in the first. "Taking both of these." Ren rolled them up. "I take it as an illustration of your old home?" Two gave him a sad nod. "Hmm, ok. Come along now." Ren pulled the book to him and started to read as they walked. They made it out of the courtyard when Zero and Three ran up. "Can we come as well, Master?" Zero asked. Three just looked on excitied.

She glanced over at Gerald with an evil look. “About the charities you give to Janet. We were just discussing the amount of money you give away.” Gerald asked, crossing his arms. “The charities are part of her contract. I told you that Gerald.” Dan spoke, leaning against the table looking as intimidating to him as ever. Janet smirked. “I have made charts and pre-planning of our money and assets and how much money that would need to be invested this year.”

After roughly two minutes, they were lying tummy down on the rough hay that itched their skin, staring at the tattered book. “Have you opened it yet?” “Nah, not at all. I've been very curious and once tried taking a sneak peek but its best if we check it together.” Cwena gently placed her hand on the book. Low key, she wished the book will open and start spilling out spells she could use - spells for understanding all Chess styles of playing like the French and maybe, one formula that answered all math equations in the world! Gerey on the other hand expected the pages of the book to shine bright gold - almost blinding so that he could tear off a few pages for sale, but none of their wishes

Caleb and I were ridiculously competitive, arguing over every point. "That doesn't count," I said when Claire acted out a movie.. "It absolutely counts," Caleb said. "You're just saying that because you're losing." "We're winning, actually." "By one point." "Still winning,” I said, sticking my tongue out, mocking him.

As she walked past the charity's glass table she saw a book that was similar to the one Clarke bought for her after their little argument days ago. "Hey... I have this book. Dear rose...." Rachel exclaimed "Okay?" Charity acted so calmly, she wanted to hear what Rachel would say concerning the book. "the book is so nice, concise, and beautifully written" "Really? I just got the book" charity answered back. It was a lie. Rachel was able to detect this because she had gotten so used to charity in such a way that she knew what each of the charity's facial expressions meant. "Why are you acting weird?" Rachel grimaced.

The other kids unwrapped their presents and each one got a lovely gift— something they cherished. The scene of the video changed and this time, Uncle Millie held the camera. They decided to play the Christmas charades game and in the video, William brought out a list of Christmas terms to be acted out. Everyone separated into three teams, each team had six persons. They selected one person from each team to do the acting. Like regular charades, the actors were not allowed to talk or make signals of any letters. Every time a team guessed correctly within the time limit, they got a point. The first team to get twenty points would win the game!
