And now, everything has somehow become my fault. Charlie went to pour a glass of water for Charlie. He immediately crouched down to help her. When he reached for tissues and found the box empty, he barked at me, “Hand me your scarf!” I froze. The plane was already in the air so it was okay to stand up and take a walk. When Charles heard his last sentence, he raised his hands as a sign of surrender before smiling at him. “I just wanna sit beside you. Seven Eighteen. Erika's POV. I walked out of the room after all of us were called for dinner. I opened the door, and it happened Charles was coming out from his room also. He stared at me for a while before he walked out of me completely without any remorse in his eyes. What was wrong with him? Why was he acting that way? She guessed it was safer to bet on the latter. But before she could scramble out of the blankets, the door suddenly sprang open. Then, an apparition appeared before her. Frankly, it seemed like a dream since she could not imagine this scene in a million years. “Oh, great! Charlie, you’re finally up.” He entered the room, in his loosely tied robe, carrying a tray in his hands. Then, he strode further into the room, stopping at the edge of the bed. Honestly, he was new to this. Again, he had never done anything like this before. As he had said before, he had followed certain rules in dating, if he could call his one-night stand that.

Charlie faced Marlie, her expression filled with sadness, and shook her head. This time, she was not pleading for assistance.

Panicked, she didn't think twice to kick him to the side. "Spare me this bullshit! If you weren't so greedy and desperate to climb the ladder, you wouldn't be here today! And that night, you were clearly enjoying yourself, holding me and calling me 'baby!'" The two of them started grappling in the middle of the ballroom, rolling around in complete disgrace. Zachary, who had been shrinking at the back, saw things turning bad and quietly edged toward the crowd, trying to slip away. However, Charlie spotted him. With sharp eyes and quicker reflexes, he lunged forward, grabbed Zachary by the collar, and yanked him back hard. "Get over here! You think you can run? Not a chance!"
