I peeked around the corner to see Charlotte holding the napkin, staring down at it. Was she just going to take it, I wondered? "I want us to be friends" Dray said and Charlotte nodded then he left. "What's wrong, you don't seem happy" Charlotte asked as they walked to class.

“See you at recess?” “Sure,” she beamed after him. “So,” Heath took over, draping his arm over her shoulders and pulling her against him. “Tell me about yourself Charlotte? You moved to Havermouth last year, didn’t you? How have you found it?” “My family were originally from Havermouth,” she told him. “We went to kindergarten together, but you probably don’t remember.” “Oh,” he laughed. “No, my memory isn’t that great.” “Neither is mine, but there’s a photo that my mum has, and you and Cameron are in it with me,” Charlotte told him eagerly. “I’ll bring it in tomorrow, if you’d like to see.”

Slicing his office phone off the hook, Julian called Charlotte. Charlotte was currently hiding out at home, still fantasizing that her husband could settle everything for her. Valentine's Day ~Three years later ~ I opened my eyes with the familiar look of my dorm room surrounding me.
