I shoved the bread into my mouth, chewing quickly as if they might try to take it from me. The meat was tougher than leather, but I forced it down, washing it down with the lukewarm water. The rats crept closer, emboldened by my focus on eating. I kicked at them, and they retreated again, only to return moments later.

The wolves fell to the ground and died right away. The rabbits went through a similar change. They got bigger and looked even better. They did not attack Chase, however. When the wolves started to attack Chase, the rabbits ran off in all directions. The rabbits ran so fast that one could only see fragments of their shadows. Chase smiled after slaughtering the wolves. He vanished from where he was after that. Not long after, he reappeared just as quickly with the unconscious wild rabbits in his hand. He took the pill, and his body began to glow in red. His physique started to steam.

I would not surprise me if a white rabbit jumps out of that door. Lachesis pulls the sticks out of her bun, making her hair cascade down her back. It is so long, it reaches the floor.
