Chasing fireflies

Chasing fireflies

And Samantha, composed until now, thrashed wildly as earthworms rained down upon her face. Hunter was certain she wasn’t there. He bolted back to the car, barking at the driver to head to the next cemetery. An hour passed, his mind stuck on Chloe. What kind of nightmare was she trapped in? His chest tightened as he scanned the cemetery grounds, zeroing in on the mausoleums. He took off running.

Fake Bride of the Ruthless Billionaire

Fake Bride of the Ruthless Billionaire

The sunset slowly disappeared, leaving a soft golden hue in the sky. Grayson hugged Kimmy again. “I don’t need any other reason to love you,” he said. Kimmy closed her eyes, returning his embrace. “Me too,” she whispered, her voice trembling. The evening sky by the beach looked like a painting. Shades of orange and purple glowed across the horizon, wrapping the hotel room whose windows were wide open facing the sea. The sea breeze drifted in slowly, carrying the salty scent and the soothing rhythm of the waves. Grayson stood behind Kimmy, embracing her gently from behind. His chin rested on her shoulder as she stood quietly, gazing at the sun that was slowly disappearing.

My Contract Marriage

My Contract Marriage

The waves rolled and crashed before coming at them again, but not violently. Soft and serene, like the flow of music. The sun cast a golden orange glow in the distance as it disappeared along the horizon The sunset was beautiful, like fading music. Kayden held Crystal's icy hands, feeling bubbles in his chest. He gave her his jacket because she was cold, but she wanted to watch the sunset. The citric scent of her shampoo tickled his nose. When she placed her head on her shoulders, it smelled so lovely he barely stopped himself from taking a bite of her head.

Michelle
This story started off great with the hostile attitudes, but 94 chapters in and three attempted murders with Kayden not caring or Crystal not reacting to the seriousness has me rethinking if I want to continue spending money on a story that is dragging along. Please give us more story not fluff.

It was an epic and emotional rollercoaster.Kayden made me angry a lot of times but I guess he is a good man and he deserved to keep her. The characters in this book are very good. I love how Paige is such a supportive friend. A must read!

Chasing Rejected Mate

Chasing Rejected Mate

Suzan: "First, I want to go to Canada. I want to make sure that Late Luna is gone. I'm already getting the household photos, and I can go there in a few days. Late Luna treated me very kindly. Her life and death, I had to find out for myself.” Shawn nodded: "As long as you are not afraid of the opportunity, I can go with you then." Suzan had aerophobia and had never flown in an airplane in the past few years. “I don’t need you to accompany me, I can go by myself.” Suzan refused to go along: "Second if it is confirmed that Luna is dead, you must hold a grand memorial service for her and bury her as your son. You don't have to bury her with your father..”

Hotter Than Hell

Hotter Than Hell

If not, I'll stay in a hotel and come back tomorrow. The sun finally begins setting and a spectacular array of light washes across the horizon. Arizona sunsets are to die for. I smile at the thought. Following Moon could get me killed. It's the whole sick cop humor thing. I'll appreciate this sunset like it's my last. About an hour later, one of the Cadillacs pulls out. I have no idea if Moon's in it and that doesn't matter. I know my plan could take a few days before it pays off. I stand up from where I've been crouching and focus the binoculars on the Caddy. The windows are tinted but I can just make out a head in the back seat, so I'm thinking I hit pay dirt. I take off running for the re

We chose the one in the second row near the window. "Can I sit near the window?" I asked. Mace looked at me like I had asked a silly question. "You can sit wherever you want. There’s no need to ask.” I thanked her before I sat down near the window. I feel more relaxed when I see the swaying trees and a clear blue sky. That's why I always wanted a seat near the window. I pulled out my phone while we waited for the professor. Since it’s our first day, I doubt if they will give us any homework already. I decided to open my social media and upon scrolling, my twin’s beautiful face popped up on my news feed.

CHASING HIS DEAD LUNA

CHASING HIS DEAD LUNA

She died before I could give it to her or I thought she did and then six years later she walked out of a dressing room in something that same shade of green and looked at me like I was an inconvenience she was managing, and I stood up and left before any of it could show on my face. “You’ve been quiet since the mall,” Cassian said. “I’m always quiet.” “You’re a different kind of quiet.” He glanced at me sideways. “The bad kind.” I didn’t answer that. The car moved through the city, afternoon traffic, ordinary people going places that mattered to them, and I looked out the window and felt the exhaustion of a person who hadn’t slept properly in six years. “Why are you taking her to the summit?
