Cherry Blossom After Winter Mangabuddy Novels & Stories

Since the names of the continents and oceans in my world were different to the others, the Panama would be called the Atlantic Ocean in some worlds and probably something else in the dimensions that I rarely visited. Several cherry blossoms were in full bloom, thanks to the Magean magic, while other, lesser known trees were planted in between, creating a pallet of colours. I walked a bit farther into the park, in an area that was the least crowded and sat on a wide bench meant for three people. Several of the smaller benches/love-seats were occupied by couples in different phases of their relationship. While I waited for Kaleb to show up, I took in the behaviour of the couples, trying my har

---------- My breath caught in my throat when we stepped out of the car. The first thing that made me stop when we arrived at our destination was the season of the flowering trees in the area. “Do you like it, Miss Winter? The flowers are in season and I thought you might want to see them before fall.” As far as I know, the flowering trees creating a tree tunnel were what you call Jacaranda trees, which were quite well-known in San Diego. Probably because of the sunny conditions of the place and was also the reason why the trees were the happiest.

“I’m still eating at the mall.” She reached her chin on top of his shoulder, even when he was inches taller than her. “Can you give me chocolates, then? Please?~” “We’ll buy you chocolates at the mall. I don’t think they serve that here, do they?” Theo Valencia, still in his work clothes, couldn’t hold back anymore and decided to go to the bar to see if his friends were just joking around to have him come.

I am not sure how long I sat in the garden like that, but the next second I heard incessant shouting. “She can’t have gotten far, Dante.” “We’ll find her, boss.” Uhh. Who were they looking for? Standing up from the bench, I realise that I must have sat there for quite a while because my butt hurt from sitting on the cold marble. I walk towards the camellia shrub and smell their sweet scent. These flowers were among the most beautiful to bloom in winter and were my favourite to make a winter bouquet with, but I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to pick any of them.

It has been almost a week since he had been coped up in his office coming up with the almost perfect plan and he had missed the best of the rainy seasons. As he looked out of the window towards the forest, he could immediately tell the difference in the trees growth. The umbrella shaped trees have started sprouting flowers. The tamarind fruit on the other side was more or less the same. Almost all the fruits planted in the forest looked as colorful as a flower garden with the different shapes and colors of their flowers.

Ming bowed and was about to walk away, just then, she heard a masculine voice, “Did you lose someone who was also like this cherry blossom?” Ming turned around and saw a middle-aged man wearing a hat and glasses. He stood beside her and looked up at the tree. Ming hummed in response, “Hmm… when I was about to end my life, she came as a new beginning, like this cherry blossom. That day was the first day of spring and as well as of my new life…” “Hmm… some people are indeed like that. So today is her birthday or funeral? And why pink roses under cherry blossom tree?” that man asked.

I cut down the wild creepers, removed unnecessary climbers as much as she could. Once the maze of creepers and climbers was cleared, Sia realized that there were a few fruit trees too. Surprisingly none of them were taller than 5 feet. Sia felt like she had won a lottery ticket. There was a cherry tree, mango tree, litchi tree, and a few bushes of chocoberries. Her stomach growled in response to the bushes laden with ripe, brown chocoberries. She plucked some of them and rushed to wash them. There was no kitchen or a sink. So, she took them to the bathroom.

Rushing around frantically, I searched for her in the last direction that I'd seen her go. It felt like I walked for ages but finally, I knew she was near because suddenly the storm swirled away into the distance, then ceased. The snow was melting and as I trudged toward her, shivering and frostbitten, she stood in a beautiful, lush garden. Moss and chartreuse grass grew before my eyes. She turned to me, and I was bewildered when koby-pink cherry flower blossoms began to fall at my feet, covering the ground. I reached out for the cherry blossom and held it. The branch broke under my grasp, and everything turned frigid.

I’d still have to go back home to use them. “Are you coming?” Amnesi’s voice reeks of annoyance. “Yeah.” I move quickly to meet her. I’d rather not be at the end of that spear, “Is all this real gold?” “Yes. These mountains are blessed with such minerals.” I’m embarrassed I ever thought they lived in trees or huts. “Wow.” As we walk into the courtyard, a cherry blossom is in full bloom, spraying pink leaves all around the walkway when it moves in the wind.

A while later as we all sat down for lunch, Myles also joined us. He had been a lot busy these days and we all had no idea why. He randomly appears out of the blue to join us, and often goes back to his place. “Hey myles. You havent been hanging out much these days.” nikau said, somehow reading my thoughts. “Oh its just time for the winter moon flowers to bloom. I had been taking care of them.” “The winter moon flowers?” i asked curiously. Myles nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, they're a rare type of flower that only blooms once a year during the winter solstice. They're said to have powerful healing properties, and I've been working to cultivate them for our pack."
