“I haven’t. It’s been quiet.” I smirked as she knocked on the cutting board. Winter moved around the kitchen as I washed her pot and got it to where it didn’t smell like cherries anymore. Rinsing it off, I set it off to the side to dry. It was too big for the drying rack, so I just turned it upside and let it hang a bit off the edge of the sink. “Are you done? I figured you would be in there for a least a couple hours.” Winter slid over the dip and wavy chips she made.

Then paused before adding, “Wait! Send me the media asking for an interview.” I could hear the excitement in my PA’s voice before I disconnected the call. I opened the door to see the kitchen was a mess. Flour littered the floor, with some kitchen utensils scattered about. Upon walking closer, I saw Winter by the sink, her index finger under the running tap. “Are you okay?” I asked, rushing towards her. This caused her to turn to me. “I was bored, so I tried to bake,” she said, casually. “What happened?” I asked, but I didn’t need an explanation to know what had happened.

“But it’s so pretty.” “It’ll be prettier in spring or fall,” Keith adds. “I can see fall with the autumn foliage, but why spring?” “Cherry blossom season.” “Oh...” I look up at the gnarled branches, heavy with green leaves, above us and try to imagine them full of small pink flowers. “Maybe we can come back then.” Keith says with a smile. “Maybe.” Keith stops in his tracks. “Imogene, I was wondering…” “Yes,” “How about we go on another date?” I swallow hard.

Crystal parked the car in front of the Han river park and took her phone from her purse before getting down from the car. It's still dark, and so cold.
