Chestnut Brown Eyes Novels & Stories

Jem answers. A blonde muscled guy who's a bit shorter than Jem approaches. Stopping by my chair he nods in Hunters direction. "This should be fun." He murmurs looking excited at the prospect of some drama. "Why?" I twist my head to look up at new guy. I realise that his eyes are mismatched. One blue and the others split. Half of the iris the same blue as his right eye but the other half is a light brown. "Woah, pretty." I breathe.

I immediately kick back into his shin, and he cries out in pain. But…wait. Something is wrong. Making very sure that there is no room for him to make a single move, I search for his eyes. They are a deep dark chocolate brown that is glimmering under the moonlight rushing through the open windows above. I do even dare go as far and say that there is a smile behind the sparkle that they hold.

She can't still pinpoint his category- newborn, master, or elite, other than that he is a vampire. She remembered her eyes before everything had gone black; they are the most beautiful ones she has come across. They are not dull brown or dark brown. It's a balance in between which can only be described as the color of honey. Honey brown that is so light she could see the specks in his eyes.

He blushed and looked away when I caught him checking me out. When he finally met my eyes, my jaw dropped at how beautiful they were. Chocolate brown with light green flecks in them and just in his right eye, in the bottom right side of the pupil, there was a steak of light green running from the bottom of his pupil to the edge of the iris. I'd never seen anything like it. When my brain finished rebooting I realized he'd been talking to me and I hadn't heard a word. I quickly closed my mouth and just stared at him. Goddess I must look like an idiot.

Beneath his coat is a jacket with a distinct collar covering his neck, revealing only a brown neckerchief. His patient expression continues to stare at me while I take in his appearance, committing every minute detail to memory, but it’s his eyes that leave me with a sense of unease. His eyes are a deep, dark brown, so dark that under this monolithic structure, they almost appear obsidian. The colour does not disturb me; but instead, their lack of emotion. They're so cold – inhuman even. Two dark, treacherous pools threatening to drown me at any moment.

My hands were fisted on crisp pale blue shirt, as I realised I was in arms of someone. Readily, I pulled myself away as strong arms left my waist. "stai bene?" My breath hitched for a second when I looked up. I never thought that brown eyes would look this much gorgeous. Holy fish they weren't even brown. There was little light in them, should I say hazel? Just like copper against honey, the colour of Earth after it rains. And the perfect high cheekbones that I wanted to had so badly. My eyes travelled down when a wide grin of beautiful lips came into view.

-Colter- A human?! This can’t be! Her?! My mate?! No! No, no, no, no, no. Absolutely not! She wasn’t a bad looking human girl. She was pretty? I guess? She had a pair of mesmerizing eyes-even for a human; it was that heterochromic thing that some humans were born with. Hers wasn’t extremely noticeable, but if you looked long enough you could see that, while both eyes were a rich whiskey brown, one had hints of green in them. Her even richer latte brown skin, seemed to make her eyes even more noticeable.

His features were strikingly similar to Miles’, yet… not quite the same. His eyes were different—deep-set, sharply defined, and a cool shade of light brown that almost seemed to glow under the lights. The kind of gaze that made you feel like you were staring into the eyes of a wolf.

His face was as handsome as a noble from an ancient era. But it was his eyes that pierced her—dark brown, incredibly deep, cold, and lifeless. They looked as if they could freeze anyone who dared to stare for too long.
