"Oh, Las Vegas is the life!" Amanda gave a big whoop, a big grin on her face. She had just cheated some men off their money in a game, and as usual, underestimating the power of a young woman, they were too stupid to notice that she cheated. She was interrupted from her happy thought by a vibration then chime that came from her phone. With a sigh, she pulled it out, it was probably the guys worrying over her as usual. They acted all tough because of how big they were but deep down, they were just cuddly bears, she giggled at that thought.

He raises his voice and slowly turns his head to face me, his eyes turning dark. "Sorry. You don't need to be ma..." A tiny shrill whistle suddenly erupts in the room. The sound slowly gets louder. The door opens and the teacher walks into the room. He begins the lesson but I can’t seem to focus, the sound feels like it’s piercing through my skull. I look around and everyone seems unfazed by the sound as it gets louder. Am I the only one hearing this? I look to West but he has a distant look on his face, his eyes still dark. Is he doing this?

Axle made a show of dramatically inhaling the salty woodsy scent that swirled around us. “You smell that Alpha? This Luna of ours dragged our salty asses all the way to the ocean”

wow…. “It seems like you are going for a wedding” one of the makeup artist couldn’t help but squeal in excitement, “I am a lady but I can’t keep my eyes off of you” Aura smiled as she twirled in front of the mirror, even though she couldn’t keep her own eyes off of herself. Her phone rang again and she immediately answered when she saw the caller ID. “Are you ready?” Malcolm’s deep husky voice filtered into her ears. “Yes I am” she beamed.

Roan kissed him then, shutting him up and stopping his tears from coming any further. "No crying, Tideian, I haven't seen you in so long and this isn't the time to cry." He begged and smiled when Tide nodded in agreement. "I'm sorry I haven't returned any of your messages or calls. I lost my soul-strength when a drop of the Tears fell upon my hand and it hasn't fully recovered, you know I can not send butterflies or return your calls, a clamphone functions by the magic of its bearer." He convinced, and Tide nodded in agreement. "I'm only waiting for the festival so I can drink the Tears potion and regain my strength." He finished and all too quickly Tide forgave and believed him without any

Seraphina’s POV She walked out of the house, her baby pink heels making a delicate click-click against the polished marble tiles. The sound echoed through the quiet hallway like a rhythmic declaration of war in disguise. Every step was precise, soft and feminine, yet heavy with purpose. Kaelion stood at the end of the corridor, dressed in a sleek black coat layered over a dark grey turtleneck, his usually stern face breaking into a look of visible awe. His golden eyes widened slightly, tracing the curve of her waist, the way her cropped cardigan hugged her delicately, revealing just a teasing glimpse of her midriff.

Leo squeezes my hand. “Anything you wan Noves”

And maybe it’s my age, but I like the ones with the homey vibes a lot more than ones that try to fit in with this generation. Too much to look at. All smooth surfaces and robots. “Why is it named The item anyway?” I ask, sliding into the booth. Jesse sits opposite me, he plucks my phone from between my finger tips and plugs it in. At least the futuristic charging spots are useful. A robot rolls to our table with the menu displayed on it’s abdomen. There’s no time for me to decide because Jesse took it upon himself to order water for the both of us. “You really want to drown me in all that water?”

Jase says menacingly. Storm’s eyes narrow and he crosses his arms over his chest. “Don’t think I don’t know you work for the Death Kings. I am the leader of C.H.A.O.S. and you’re on my turf where I hold seniority. You and your team are here to train under us for now, Storm Diesel Benson aka Clyde, leader of Tempest.” Jase has a smile of superiority playing across his lips.

Francis’s eyebrows creased as he busied himself working with his laptop. After the night of terror, he had been working non-stop to submit reports and worse, CHAOS I was activated. It was a legendary device that caused a great deal of controversy six years ago. Its logarithm was challenging to understand as it was one of the inventions of the great Alexandrei, and these inventions couldn’t be solved in one snap.
