Choosing You
I say, and she laughs.
“So then, Mr. McKay, what do you like to do?”
I give her a knowing look. One that has her laughing, and swatting my arm. “Besides that.”
I shrug with a laugh. “You asked.” Then I try to aim the dart again, while answering her question. “Not much. I play ball. Football, basketball. Basically any sport with my friends. Video games.”
“Are you one of those guys,” she asks. “The gamers who don’t let girls walk in front of the television.”
