I pulled it out immediately, already stepping slightly away while opening my contacts. Theo started toward his locker while I turned enough to keep my voice low. “Yeah,” I muttered once the call connected. “I need information on somebody.” A pause. My eyes flicked briefly toward the hallway Nikolai disappeared down. “Nikolai Voss,” I continued quietly. “Or Kolv. I don’t know which one he’s using.” Another pause. “I don’t care how you do it. Just dig up whatever you can.”

We got to the Throne room now but we didn’t get in as I saw the Alpha King strolling out of the room with a heavy envoy of Generals and warriors. Ivanka immediately called his attention. “My King.
