The chopper lifted immediately, rotors thundering, escaping into the night sky before we could react. We rushed to Nalani, panic surging as the bond flickered weakly with her unconsciousness. Quickly, I grab my bag and fasten the straps. The chopper jerk again and this time it slammed me to the metal floor. My nose bleeds but as I tried to stand up, someone held me.
