The wind got fiercer as my unmoving body and the boy whose breath had been lost started spinning in midair. "You must stop now or you'll invite something bad. You must not continue with this madness." Did they hear my cry? No. It was silently killed. Just as everything in that tiny space started to whip around the air, crashing against one another, a large crack appeared between the symbols drawn in the circle. The hotness of the ground followed with that thick red smoke bellowing from the ground. . . "I don't wanna listen anymore! Please, my stomach hurts so much!" As they walked, she could hear a thick noise from afar which was like the sound of many cars. The noise became closer and she stopped for a moment as she saw a black chopper with its rotor rotating slowly. She could see men in Black suits mounting in front of the chopper and she couldn't understand what was going on. She had only seen scenes like this on TV. She had never seen a chopper all her life and she felt so excited that she almost freaked out. "You like it?" He asked as they moved closer to the chopper. "Yes!" She said, gleefully as he placed a cigar in his mouth.

Might as well go out swinging. But instead of getting angry, he just smirked at me like I was the dumbest person alive. The second I felt the chopper lift off the ground, all shame left my body. I pressed myself into his side like my life depended on it. "Oh God—" I squeezed my eyes shut and grabbed onto whatever was closest. My heart was trying to escape through my ribcage while my stomach flipped the moment I realized we were fully airborne. The helicopter tilted slightly and I screamed again, tears forming at the corners of my eyes. "I want to live! I still want to live!"

Tears welled in my eyes as well as I loosened the rope on them, and after I did, they jumped into my arms, crying their eyes out. I hugged them tightly. “Shhh, don't cry. Mommy is here. I'm here.” Their wet clothes and tears soaked my dress, but I did not care and lifted them up in my arms. Another of Chloe's men dropped dead again. “Who's there?” Matteo cried out fearfully, glancing around but could not find the location of the so-called sniper. Seeing this, Chloe suddenly pointed the gun in her hands at me. “Don't move. Didn't I tell you to come alone? It turns out you brought company.”

Him crying. The blade. The chanting. The same helplessness. The same horror. He was on the other side now. The parent watching. The one forced to choose nothing. Forced to lose everything. The Darkness wrapped around the eldest first. Clean. Controlled. Like armor forming. Then around the youngest— Chaotic. Wild. Fighting it. Crying. “I don’t want this! Sipho!” The sound shattered him. “Fight it!” he screamed. “I’m here!”

He heard a loud noise above, he looked up, sighting a Chopper flying with Horizon Zero text designed under. Abel glanced around and found a long metal chain lying near a destroyed electrical appliance at the side of the road. He walked briskly towards where the chain laid, picked it up and folded a part of it round his fist. He rolled the chain twice and then swinged it with force and threw it at the flying chopper's left leg. The end of the chain hit the chopper's left leg and hooked round it, pulling and dragging Abel up as a result. "Adios" Abel waved grinning as he swayed midair, the chopper dragging him along.

sister Freyja approached me and helped me up into the chopper before she sat down next to me. When the three of us entered, the aviator started the chopper, so it frightened me I clung tightly to my sister Freyja’s hand because it was slowly flying in the air. Sister Freyja noticed the fear on my face, so she laughed softly. “Are you afraid?” she asked. I nodded. “Y-Yes! This is the first time I’ve ever ridden a chopper,” I admit. “Hahaha! Don’t be scared, Gavin! Just pray first that we don’t crash,” she teased me, so I was even more scared by what she declared.

I was in a mess by thinking about her, but still, I had no clue since she just vanished into the air with Kris. "Where are you, Aurora?" I couldn't help but whisper while staring at the bright moon. Aurora's Pov I felt my hands shivering as my entire body turned cold, with my tears rolling down through my eyes continuously. "Aurora, don't cry. You need to be strong." Kris was continuously telling me to control myself but...but how can I control myself? Kris was flying the chopper back to his villa while I kept silent while sobbing silently, and praying in my mind.

A bitter bile hits the back of my throat. The chopper descends, kissing hard at the concrete. The blades whirls widely, spinning air at the surrounding with great force. Ben kills the engine and the roar stops. Silence. We step down. Khlan moves to me, face tight with rage and grabs at my arm. I protest. "Let go of me, you fucking bastard!" I hiss. He ignores my protests, his eyes flashing with stormy rage as he tightens his hold on me and drags me inside.

*Vivienne* I dropped the phone. The glass screen shattered completely on the iron rail, the blue light dying instantly. Blackness swallowed us again. "Vivienne?" Clara’s voice was a tiny gasp in the dark. She was tugging my sleeve. "What did she say? What's that noise?" The mountain was shaking. It wasn't an earthquake. It was the deep, rhythmic pounding of heavy rotors cutting through the air right above the stone ceiling. Two military choppers. No markings.
