Chosen By The Lycan Prince Novels & Stories

“No Aida…no silver, no wolfsbane.” “But, please, just hear me out. If it was a choice between them and me, you’d make the right choice?” A menacing growl rattles from his chest and I was starting to see that I was now mated to the Lycan King. “And what choice would that be Aida?” He spits out in anger. “If it isn’t obvious yet Lance, then it will be!” I scowl back at him, making my thoughts very clear through our link. He takes a deep breath in before exhaling slowly, calming his anger.

“I’m sorry, I'm losing control I—” “Are you willing to do anything for your son?” Lydia asked, taking me off guard. Why did she suddenly ask that? Lydia sighed before folding her arms. “Actually…I have a solution for you. But, I don’t know if you want to accept it since it’s kinda risky and most workers fail. But say, Rowena... Do you want to seduce the Lycan Prince?”

I was much less terrified this time, and instead took in the sights—the palace growing smaller behind us, the city sprawling out, the narrow ocean that separated us from the Werewolves. Us. I was a Lycan now, wasn’t I? By title, at least; I was the Princess of the Lycans. The bride of Prince Isaac Thorne. Each day, the Werewolf kingdom felt further and further away from me, like that strait had doubled in size. I wondered if my mother would be happy; she loved the Lycans, after all. I liked to think that she would be thrilled to find that her daughter had grown to care for them just as much.

Guests dropped their gazes instinctively-prey recognizing a predator. The scent of pine and storm swept in, primal and commanding. All heads turned. A man stepped inside, flanked by two towering guards draped in black and silver. He was tall—taller than even Reyes—with broad shoulders, sleek black hair, and eyes like steel. His aura was cold, ancient, and undeniable. Gasps echoed through the room. A Lycan. The Lycan Prince. He walked with purpose, eyes scanning the crowd until they landed on me. His steps slowed.

The cursed man is definitely the Lycan Prince, judging from his young appearance too. What?! “She saw us. Before we even met, she saw us,” I whisper more to myself than to Liam. Liam doesn't respond. He is reading over my shoulder, his breathing shallow against my skin. “Look down here,” he suddenly points to a spot on the page and my eyes quickly follow the direction of his finger. I gasp the instant I read the words. *My vision is likely Daisy's moment of choice. Her Trueblood path is already set before her with the Cursed Prince. They will either unite to bring peace or doom, but the choice lies with them and them alone.*

“If Thanos wants war, then war is what he’ll get.” Lucian’s eyes were wide, fear swimming in them, but I wasn’t about to back down. I wasn’t like him, always trying to avoid a fight before it even started. If Thanos wanted to cross me, he’d better be ready to face the consequences. “You don’t understand what’s happening, Varg,” Lucian insisted, his breath quickening. “This isn’t some random arena brawl. Thanos has the strength of a Lycan now.”

Taking a deep breath, I tried to steady myself despite the fear coursing through my veins. His red eyes were still fixed on me, and I couldn't help but feel a mix of apprehension and curiosity about this mysterious prince. "Reject the engagement," he repeated, his voice firm and unyielding. "Why should I?" I managed to say, my voice trembling slightly. "Why should I do what you say?" A sinister smile spread across his face, revealing his sharp fangs. "Because I am the next lycan king, and what I say goes. You don't have a choice."

Matteo shot a glare at Elder Alfred but still went to sit down. “Beloved alphas, betas, lunas who have come from various packs all over the world, the Lycan Kingdom welcomes you all. We are all gathered here to witness the final selection process for the Lycan Queen, and we of the Lycan Kingdom send our deepest gratitude.” He paused a little before continuing. “Our contestants: Lady Nina Parke, soldier of the Lycan female army, daughter of Minister Gale, and Lady Myra, soldier of the Lycan female army.”

Tightening his hold, he swore that he would allow nothing to get to her before carefully sliding away from her. Today was Friday, the day he and Jackson had an appointment with the Council to ask about the prophecy of the White Lycan as well as the princess. Travis had already reported back that no testing was needed to determine if Marcia was, in fact, the lost lycan princess. He learned that once they turn, a lycan develops its scent, which can be used to identify the family line.

I said sourly. "Not entirely, Val. Don't be that disappointed," Amelia chided. "Lycans are wonderful creatures, Val. Our history is far back and ancestral lineage is dynamic. So, whoever put a spellbound on you must be a very powerful Lycan. And there are only two I know who do that now." I took a step forward, closing the gap between us. "Who are they?" She looked me in the eyes and said, "One is the Lycan King."
