It was telling me to rip the door off its hinges, to wrap her in my arm, and to kill anyone who had ever touched her. But I wasn't just a man. I was a Lycan Prince. And my pack was on the edge of war. I looked at her thin arms and the way she flinched when I breathed. How could she stand beside me? How could she handle the Bloodmoon Decay? She wouldn't last a week in my world. She would be a liability. A target. If I accepted her, I would be choosing a broken girl over the safety of my entire kingdom. I would be breaking my promise to Selene and the Elders.

And then it came to me. "I am very sure that this 'myth' us a hundred percent true, Elder Hugh," I said to the elder as I picked up my wine filled glass and began slowly swirling it in my hands. "A Lycan King without a Luna isn't one you would want to be close with." "Yeah, right," Elder Hugh scoffed as he took another sip of wine from his glass and sighed. "If you keep on believing that, Prince Hudson, then I'm sorry but I can't help you."

Damon’s POV: “My name is Damon Montaforta. I am the Lycan prince of the supernatural realm. My father is King Corey Montaforta. I came here to help build my father’s businesses and help stabilize our financial state in both realms,” I said. She played with my hair as she listened closely. I listened closely to our babies' heart beat.

That seemed to have caught everyone’s attention and people started gathering around, ready to hear what the Lycan King had to say. “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.” Dad cleared his throat and started. His loud voice boomed throughout the entire ballroom. “I am really grateful to have you all present here today. It’s now time for me to announce my successor and satisfy your curiosity.” There were a few chuckles heard from the old Alphas present at his words. “I would like for all of you to meet my daughter, and the next in line to be the Lycan Queen. I present to you Princess Olivia Evans, my beloved daughter, my successor to the throne.” He announced with a proud smile on his face.

"They are cruel. You know this. And you want to go with their Alpha, the cruelest of them all? Don't be stupid. Come on, let's go home, pet." My reputation did precede me. And for the first time, I did not like it. He extended his hand to grab her but I caught it before it could touch her. I looked at her. "What is your choice, Avalyn?" Yes, they may have had a history that would work in his favor. It could influence her decision. It was natural to choose the familiar. But it had to be her choice. Her breath hitched before she looked up at him and then me. "You. I choose you."

“Jenny get her in the car she doesn’t know he’s here to get her,” Jenny grabs my arm and pulls me toward the car and I jerk my arm free. “Jenny, I'm sorry. But I can’t go with you,” Jenny frowns and her lips part as the driver steps out and walks to the rear door. “Lily, the Lycan Prince is here. He’s come to take you..” “Home,” I cut her off and her frown deepens. “Home? Did you just say home, As in his home?” She asked and I nodded.

Born as a free human but she was 8 when the war broke out, she lost her family to the hands of the monsters and since then she has become a slave to these predators. As she turned 18, it was time for her destiny to prevail, just like all the other boys and girls before her. Either she'd be sold in an auction as a pet to the highest bidder and only complete psychos attend such auctions or she would be sent to the breeding camp which was a living nightmare. But never in billions of years, she thought the Lycan King will buy her for his sons who hate humans to their cores. Little did she know, the King had bought her as the most important test for both the Princes because whoever kills her firs

They all have god-like features, like the moon goddess took an extra day to make them. “You’re pretty,” he says casually as he pulls away, like he is talking about the weather. “So, you won’t get mad when I tell you not to get all hung up on Darian.” “Why?” “He is the Lycan Prince. He has duties that he has to fulfil.” Adrian pulls himself off the wall. “And he is the coldest McAlister. All he knows how to do is ruin everything in his path.”

His hand rested comfortably on my hip and my fingers traced the soft flesh below his collarbone. “I doubt it. You are not angry?” he questioned pulling back slightly so that I could look into his eyes and give him a sweet smile. “Not really. I mean, her son is said to be one of the most powerful Lycan kings. An attack on his beloved mother that he is unaware of will leave him in distress, he won’t be able to concentrate on ruling the clan with the loss of his beloved mother” I pointed out, tracing circles on his chest as he spoke “And we need to capitalize on that. What of the ally we have?”
