Tris woke up in the middle of the night, her heart racing and her body drenched in sweat. She had had a nightmare, a vivid and disturbing dream that had left her feeling shaken and uneasy. In the dream, she had seen Chris, her former lover, embracing another woman, Anne. The image had been seared into her mind, and Tris couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal and hurt that lingered long after she woke up. She glanced at the clock on her nightstand and saw that it was still 3 am. The house was quiet, the only sound the distant ticking of the grandfather clock in the hallway.

With no knowledge of which way to go, I hit something hard and I black out. The next thing I know I wake up screaming in my bed, I shiver uncontrollably as the dried sweat makes my hair stick to my head. The sheets tangled at the foot of the bed, but my heart beat is already slowing because I’m at home safe and secure from any of those monsters out there in the woods. It was just a nightmare. In all the 17 years of my life, that would have to be the scariest nightmare I have ever had. I know I can’t go back to sleep after having a nightmare like that, so I get my phone out and check the time, its 2 in the morning I still have 5 hours until I have to get up. What am I going to do? Don’t you think that’s the worst nightmare?” Paige was speechless. How could she be so careless? How could she not notice Chris was awake?

"I've been having these recurring nightmares," I looked around the room; my confession had grasped all of their attentions and they seemed at loss for words. Janelle who had always been the practical one, nodded sympathetically. "Dannie, it's normal to have nightmares after what you've been through. Your mind is still processing the trauma." She said. On my right, Sofia leaned forward. Her brown eyes were filled with concern as she said, "Dannie, tell us about your nightmares. Maybe talking about them will help."

Josh, Nash, Ezra, and Ice. _ Adrison was stretching down the stairs, he chose to hang out on the rooftop and when he got down the stairs he found his friends sitting on the sofa with their faces covered. "What happened to you?" He got their attention so they raised their heads together with wide eyes. Adrison wanted to laugh at how they looked now but he still insisted on being serious. "They don't want to agree with us," said Xanti. Adrison frowned at what his friend was referring to but later remembered what happened inside the van earlier.

“I know. But this rage? It doesn’t serve us yet. Tomorrow, we finish it. Today, we’ve gotten enough to map half of Christopher’s network.” I clenched my fists so hard blood dripped from my palms. “He doesn’t get to breathe easy tonight.” “Oh, he won’t,” Ashton assured, eyes gleaming. “The dreamwalkers are already crawling into his mind. He’ll think he’s being flayed alive all night long. That’s worse than anything you could do with your hands.” I glanced at Alex’s limp form, his face swollen, twitching from the lingering energy I’d poured into him. I should’ve felt victorious.

The quiet seriousness in his tone made her look up at him. Moonlight filtered faintly across his face. Before she could answer, a scream suddenly ripped through the territory outside. Both of them bolted upright instantly. Another scream followed sharply then snarling. Chaos exploded beyond the cabin walls. Chris was off the bed in seconds, shifting partially as claws extended from his hands.

Laurel called after her son. "Christopher !" "Christopher !!" Christopher slammed the door behind him ,he was angry that mother had strike him across the face amd needed to take his anger out of something , anything. As he slammed his room door shut too , he stared at Ashanti who was already awake and was wearing the shirt he wore to the pub the previous night , he stared at her intensely . "Chris ,where did you go ...I . " Christopher charged at her in a flash , he suck his teeth deep into and neck and sucked out every blood and bit of energy in her veins ,when he was done he dropped her as she fell to the ground with a thud , dead.

Nick only comes out at night for a few hours or when something strange happens. Ryan Morris: I got up in the morning. My head was in pain. I tried to open my eyes. I wasn't in my room. I quickly look at my bedside. Chris was sleeping beside me. I looked at my clothes. They were also changed. I quickly got up from his bed. Startled by my sudden movement, Chris also woke up. "What am I doing here?" I asked him. "You drank too much last night. Your clothes got dirty. So I changed them". He answered.
