~ New York City, 2002~ It was Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year! New York City's streets were decked out with stunning lights and plants. Stephanie stood in front of the Rockefeller Center plaza, marveling at the gorgeous Christmas tree. Thousands of light bulbs were used to ornament the tree, which was capped with a new Swarovski star. Stephanie's wavy black hair flowed loosely on her shoulders as she gazed up and stared at the star with a big smile on her face.

"You should be careful what you say. It could be disastrous. If there are other victims, then I won't be able to celebrate Christmas with my family. You don't want me to get angry at you for that, do you?" Peter, who didn't mean it, shook his head. He closed his mouth tight, then looked at everyone awkwardly. Peter felt guilty and very embarrassed. He wished he could take his words back. Afterward, Nicholas said, "There is nothing strange about the pawn shop here. Everything looks normal."

Jennifer chuckled and retorted mockingly, "CEO? Do you really think she became CEO through her own abilities? Without Jeremiah and me backing her up, she's just a useless loser." Charles looked at Jennifer in disbelief. His eyes were filled with shock and anger. Annoyed by the noise, I told the bodyguards to drag the two of them farther away. I crouched alone by the seaside. The winter wind blowing from the ocean was icy and piercing. Little by little, I scattered Noelle's ashes into the sea. I said softly, "Today is Christmas, Noelle. It's also the day you were born. I'm letting you return to the ocean."

“They love you to pieces.” I smiled then. And that’s how we fell asleep. Both of us smiling. Me holding her hand. Her thankful to be a part of a close knit group. And me thankful that I got to do this. I got my second chance. I’d never been more thankful for anything. <> Something was tickling me. I opened my eyes to see Frankie’s big ass head close to my face. I looked at him funny. “What are you doing?” I asked. “Just waking you up princess. It’s Christmas!!” He said smiling.

A groggy voice sounded and then the light was shut on, and then the door got shut quickly. “C’mon, I know you like it.” The groggy voice sounded again touching the shoulder of a boy sitting on a chair and stroking his dick. It was Peter, he was bisexual, no one hated him cause he hid that he actually liked men and since he liked ladies too, it was easy.

“VIP tickets to Ophelia Grant’s concert. That will be in two weeks. There will also be performances by guest singers. You get two tickets so you can bring a friend. This may help you make a decision.” “Oh, my God.” I chuckle and press the tickets against my chest, across my heart. “I haven’t seen Ophelia perform live. This is already too much, but I appreciate it very much. Thank you, Mr. Greenwood.” “Please call me Peter. Julian’s like a brother. It’s only natural to call me with no formalities. You’re also welcome.” “Alright.” I chuckle. “I think I should leave, Peter. I have to get ready for school,” I say as I look up at my apartment.

Hill asked, her tone gentle but probing. “Yes,” Peter replied, turning to meet her gaze. “Well, what can I say? I’m 50 years old. I lived 20 years without memories, and during that time, I did the best I could. About five years ago, I found out I had a son—a young man named Alden. He’s 23 now. I don’t tell him often, but he’s a good kid. He’s also the father of my grandson, Ethan. Ethan is almost six, a beautiful boy with wavy hair like mine. He’s my world, and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for him.

Peter’s first male friend and second friend next to Sunny. Time flew by so fast and he's now 16. It’s Christmas break and he’s planning to go home to spend the vacation with Sunny. I made some calls to have Travis declared legally dead… Though they will never find his body unless it is walking around. Peter said he was working from the packhouse Monday, and we were to report first thing in the morning. It was strange for him to send a text message, but I guess it’s up to convenience. Next week was Christmas, most of the staff would be working from home unless they took additional leave.

He was tall, really tall for a Santa Claus, that I had to tilt my head back to meet his eyes—oh, his eyes.
