The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

Her eyes snap open, twin supernovae. *"Kelly,"* she breathes, though her lips don't move. *"You're late."* The voice is the Weaver's. But the face... It's mine. --- **The Chrysalis** The cocoon cracks, spilling liquid light that scalds the marsh into glass. The woman steps out, her every footfall crystallizing the earth. She's not a Daughter. Not a ghost. She's *raw*-a being of unfiltered potential, the blueprint the Weaver used to stitch me together.

Read this book, and tell your friends too! Uplifting story about change and growth. Very well written with such an original world and story. I’m trying to not type any spoilers, but for book 2 I’d be ecstatic to read any of the other timekeepers’ storylines. Beautiful work author KP, beautiful <3

A Gift from the Goddess

A Gift from the Goddess

“And this is the crap the Elders built a prophecy on? My entire childhood I was being used as a tool, groomed for a Luna position and stripped of all my freedoms… because of this?!” He gave a small shrug. “I personally wouldn’t have done any of that… but I can see why the other Elders, men of faith, would have pushed that agenda. It is easy enough to piece the puzzle together. You’re the first female born to Chrysalis in over a century. Maybe longer.” He then pointed to one of the houses on the triangle. The one I’d labelled foresight. Immediately, I swallowed back the bile in my throat. “Born to a Beta who served an Alpha that had a son not two years prior.”

Hey I thought I'd let you know that there's a very similar story on here that is similar to yours and that it's called ROGUE LOVELOCK: The Storm Lycan, the characters are under different names but very similar to synopsis. I'm looking forward to seeing your book through to the end and thank you for.

“Ahhhhhh!” My body jerked as I went to the floor, rolling on my back. A growl erupted from my throat as I rolled on all fours. I could feel my bones breaking. I was about to shift. My wolf howled, making the witches move back from me. They could see how dire this situation was. "I'm Alpha Agatha Janus. The last of my bloodline. The first female alpha of the Red Flames. You are all in my way and stopping me from getting to my mate," I growl, standing on my feet.

I really enjoyed this book. It was sad, sweet, dramatic, romantic, violent, and had a wonderful ending. My only complaint is that some chapters that are from a different POV repeat 90% of the same scenes stated in another chapter. If they had been combined some way it would have been perfect!

CHOSAN: Alpha's Destined Slave

CHOSAN: Alpha's Destined Slave

Still stunned how that newcomer with a strange scent mentioned the great grimoire like it was nothing, rose my ears. She came closer to Molane whose eyes continued to gush out tears. "During the spell to keep my grimoire sealed in there, it activated a single dead sperm of old Alpha Wolland's. And when charged to life, it swam into your womb and held the grimoire tightly, sucking part of it's magic, thereby making its growth to become smooth." "Who are you to talk about a grimoire like that?" "She's Kolan, the witch. She's the owner of the grimoire that was safely kept in mother's womb." Chosan stood there like a stick and started speaking as if controlled to.

Canus loved me, and I never even suspected it until he made me drink him dry and tear out his heart. So, instead of granting him his final wish, instead of listening to my Sire like a good little girl, I merely kneel there in the grimy little alley, paralysed with guilt. I’m still in the same position minutes later, when Chryseus tears into the alleyway in a rampage, all aglow like a fallen angel, bright-haired and bright-eyed and healed of all the injuries inflicted upon him earlier tonight—this morning, I should say, as most of it had happened as the sky slowly brightened with dawn.

I Became a Villainess Werewolf In My Own Novel

I Became a Villainess Werewolf In My Own Novel

Time passed quickly, and when I looked up from reading half the book, I saw her looking straight at me. We took off each other's coats and underwear, and she put her hands on my skin, making me tremble slightly. I bit my lip and tried to restrain myself. Alanna: " Oh, I thought you two were going to reconcile, but I didn't dare to call you for fear of disturbing you.” I swallowed and waited for her next words. ant crawled from nowhere on the ground. It moved left and right in a lonely manner, sometimes touching the dust particles on the ground with its tentacles, sometimes hesitating because of the uneven seams in the tiles, and going around in circles. It kept dazzling in front of my eyes.

Damian grunted, not looking away from the monitors. "Pilgrims," I said, kissing the top of his head. "They blocked the tram. I looked at the main screen. It showed the interior of Sector 9 the fusion chamber. In the center of the room, the crystal chrysalis still stood. It had grown over the years. The blue-black star-glass had formed jagged, cathedral-like spikes, branching out like coral. And inside, deep within the semi-translucent shell, was the silhouette of a man.

Frequently Asked Questions

The main way 'Chrysalis' handles transformation is through the pure physicality of it. The protagonist starts as a human, gets reincarnated as a literal monster in a dungeon—a monster ant, I think? The whole narrative is built around him adapting to that new form, learning to move, hunt, and survive with a completely alien body. It's less about internal angst and more about the practical, almost video-game-like progression of evolving his carapace, gaining new abilities, and climbing the food chain.

What I find interesting is how that physical change forces a mental shift. He can't interact with the world like a human anymore; communication, society, all that's gone. His goals become survival-based, then eventually about protecting his colony. The character development isn't dialogue-heavy; it's shown through his actions as a monster. The transformation is the story's entire premise, not just a plot point.

It’s a pretty fun twist on the isekai trope, honestly, because the transformation is so absolute and the story commits to it.
