she said shoving me playfully on my arm. "Yes" I nodded tears clouding my eyes. "Why do women always cry on proposals? aren't they supposed to be happy they're getting married?" Genie asked causing us to laugh. "You're just too much" I said giving her cheeks a light squeeze. "Thank you. So we're going to be your maid of Ivy. Me and Ivy" "You're too young to be a maid of honor" I sigh "Can I at least give you away?" "Grandpa would do that silly"

she chuckled. “I never wanted to kill that old man, it was just a mistake, dear. Now, let me look at our Princess or should I say Cursed Princess.” She put the edge of her knife to her chin, making Si-ri scream in pain. Blood started oozing out from her chin in no time. “Hmm, the royal family indeed have good genes. You’re beautiful, darling. But I’m sorry dear, your beauty won't be able to save you. Don't worry I’ll give you an easy and pain-free death.”

“Elegant but not loud.” “Do you have anything… not mayor’s-wife level?” I whispered. She laughed. “Meron, meron. Don’t worry, I’ll help you choose.” I stood there with my arms crossed, still stewing in irritation, but I had to admit—the collection was gorgeous. And also intimidating. Like, what was I even doing here? Borrowing the dresses of Lucas’s late mother because my husband forgot to mention a tiny detail like THE ACTUAL DATE OF HIS FATHER’S BIRTHDAY?

She was just innocent, and we turned her into this. "I'll do whatever you want, Your Highness," I replied, with my head bowed. She rolled her eyes, "You're not making it fun with all that respect. Fine, I want you to run around the palace entirely 100 times. Then we can talk about the rest." The palace is as huge as a big street, and running around it 100 times is tiring even for a normal werewolf. A human being would not even try that because they would run out of breath. I can't believe she asked me to do this.

Althea sobbed, heeding to the words of the elderly woman. “I am utterly sorry for leaving you.” The elderly woman said, her voice filled with sincerity. “Are you sure you're sorry?” Althea asked naively. “Yes, I am. I'm sorry for abandoning you, Cinderella.” The elderly woman answered. Althea’s voice was hoarse from crying when she finally spoke. “You’re forgiven, but you still owe me an explanation,” she said. “I’ll explain everything, my child,” the elderly woman promised, her eyes filled with remorse.

He pointed to the screen. I glanced at it. A giant headline jumped out at me. [The Innocent Cinderella Is Not What She Seems: Secret Trysts Revealed! Monday, Wednesday, and Friday With Him—And Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday With…] I scratched my head. It looked like the kind of trashy gossip article you'd find in sketchy tabloids. Some random scandal, probably. Then I scrolled down. The first photo was a close-up of my face, dark circles and all, looking like something straight out of a horror movie.

She just didn't know. "Mom, The Wrong Cinderella is one of the best books of our time. It is a fairytale that has broken every single rule that is associated with the genre. The well-known tale of the orphaned servant is retold in modern times where balls are house parties and princes are famous jocks. The biggest plot twist, however is when prince Charming falls for the wrong Cinderella. In this timeless, genius story, Cinderella isn't a servant but a rich, uberfemale who won't let a boy get in her way." I told her, doing my best to sum it all up in a way she would understand but that would still make the book sound as awesome as it is.

The guard continue to say. "Just go do what I asked"Aurora says grimacing, she watched as the guards stared at eachother in confusion. Then suddenly one of them raced into the castle. Few minutes later, Cindy rushes out of the palace. She looks different, different from the Cinderella she had met in the woods. With the blissful expression and the happy aura emitting from this Cindy, it's so obvious that she's really doing well. She isn't the Cindy that cried in the middle of the dark woods because she was jilted by her former lover, she isn't the Cindy that was worked to the bones by her wicked stepmother and sisters. She's the Cindy that's now the queen of Nevera, she looks lovely in a blue

, Granny turned around, "that dress mysteriously fell out today. I haven't laid my eyes on it in over fifteen years. The same with this" She revealed the glass heels to her. "It's a bit old", she blew the dust off, "but it was a Piranha in Africa in those days. Best 10 pounds I ever spent". Lacey slipped it on. "Like a glove" she commented. "Don't thank me now", Granny shushed her before she began, "you have to go. A black cab is parked outside. He owes me a favor or two". Lacey checked her phone. She had spent an hour. Merinda must be worried. "Don't stay too long!" Granny yelled. "Trust me, midnight won't meet me", Lacey chuckled, "thanks Granny. Love you!" She ducked into the cab. "Where
