Kenya replies with a smile. “You hoes could have given me a clue.” “And ruin the surprise? Not a chance,” Santana says as we enter my room. “A little…” I stop when I see the dress on a mannequin in the middle of the room, it’s a canary yellow ballgown, my favorite color in the same princess style as the dress in the movie Cinderella. Tears start falling again uncontrollably. “It’s lovely.” “It is, but you’ll have to cry later. Your prince is waiting.” I sniffle and nod, wiping away my tears.

She was always the one who despised me the most and I never understood her hatred for me. "Good morning, sisters" I greeted with a smile and a small curtsy. "Well well well, now I'm reminded why we call you 'Cinderella' with all this soot on your face," she responded with a smug look on her face. Curious, I felt my cheek that I had pressed to the wall when peering out the window and sure enough, it was filthy. I had wiped off my dress but forgot my face. 'Damn, Ella, you fool' I beat myself up on the inside.

I knock on Lilly's door when it's time to get ready, and she opens it shyly. "Hi. I've been thinking about dinner, and I really don't think I should go. I won't be able to talk to the king and queen; I'll be too nervous." Lilly bites her lip, and Victoria steps forward. "I think you'll be just fine. I bought you a dress. What do you think?" Lilly looks at Victoria in confusion. She has no idea who Victoria is as she reaches out and lightly touches the pale blue dress. She'll look like Cinderella when we get done with her.

If Jay could forgive me after shoving his heart back at him, there was hope for Kris. I loosened the last tie of the smaller box and pulled the box cover off. Oh my! The words never left my lips, I was too in shock to speak. Gently, like it were made of glass, I lifted the dress from the box. Just then there’s another knock at the door, in the excitement of Daniel turning up at my house I’d completely forgotten about Cinderella! “Rosie, someone’s here, come and open the door with me” I call out. Liana gets her phone out ready to record Rosie’s reaction. Rosie runs over to me, still hand in hand with Izzy and I open the door. Rosie’s face lights up and I can see tears filling her eyes “Cinderella!” Rosie cries and jumps straight into the princesses’ arms. Cinderella looks like the real deal with her sparkly blue ball gown, black choker necklace and blonde hair scraped back into a perfect ballerina bun.

She had almost driven me crazy, making me change at least eight times before finalizing on this one with glimmering eyes. The blue dress was sort of similar to the one that Cinderella wore in the movie. Puffed up sleeves that fell slightly on upper arms, making it shoulderless, it snugly hugged my chest, giving a hint of cleavage, and cascaded down to my feet. The heels I wore were made of white squint stones with a thin, single stripe of blue in them. Lara had been over the cloud to help me dress up. Perhaps she was the blessing I needed to look good in this dress. With her godly makeup skills, she had really turned me into a princess without a tiara.

A loud warm gasp flew out of Cinderella's lips. Realising she had gone nàked, Cinderella cried, and hasteningly moved out of his embrace. A certain little bunny didn't want him to see her body. She couldn't hide, but could somehow cover up her trembling body with her hands.

My stepsisters stopped fighting and turned their attention to me. “She’s really the laziest maid in this house. She can never get anything done!” Cindy said with a scoff. Mindy fell into the couch nearby, clutching the invitation that she had finally managed to wrest out of her sister’s hand. “Cindy, what are we going to wear to this ball?” Lizzy picked up her teacup, taking a short sip. “Don’t worry sweetie, I’ve already sent word to your stylists.
