Junior Year

Junior Year

At the mall, we walked from store to store doing absolutely nothing, sometimes we'd try some clothes on, but we never bought a single thing and I felt guilty when we walked out of each store, I felt especially bad for the girl that helped us find our sizes cus we weren't there to buy anything. We made our way to the food court and found our favorite pretzel place, as I walked in, the scent of freshly baked dough hit me like a freight train, I was almost salivating. They sold cinnamon bites-- what were here for-- dog bites-- which are bite-sized hot dogs-- pizza bites, pretzels-obviously- normal bites which were like cinnamon bites but minus the cinnamon. "4 bags of cinnamon bites, please." I

Luna On The Run!

Luna On The Run!

The way she tells it all makes my mouth water, even without having seen it. "Fortunately, I often take part in the training sessions in my pack and don't get fat from it. Jocelyn's apple pie is the best in the area," she continues. "I will ask her to send us some. Or even better, why don't we have a pie-baking competition in the pack?"

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Running across the sand. Fair. With Adrian's shoe in his mouth. Reasonable. Proudly. God. Very proudly. Fair. Like he'd hunted it himself. Reasonable honestly. Then the chase began. God. Cookie ran. Fair. Adrian ran. Reasonable. Peanut ran. God. Then everybody else ran too. Fair. The entire beach. Reasonable honestly. Then Cookie turned it into a game. God. The worst possible outcome. Fair. Because puppies love games. Reasonable.

NeNe Eugene
10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Chasing My Runaway Breeder

Chasing My Runaway Breeder

She paused, then, observing Irish's face, she took her hands and squealed with excitement, "We have the ball ceremony coming after the pack run, I'm sure you don't want to miss. I must doll you up for that event." Irish's didn't appear excited by the news. Her sad eyes lingered on the spot where Cynthia held her hands, and she muttered, "Thanks." Cynthia seemed disappointed, at the same time, she wanted to cheer her up. "What's the matter? People die to go to these events yet you're not even the least excited." "Alpha Adrian forbids me from going for the pack run and I have no idea for how long he would keep me grounded," Irish replied, her tightly knit brows, almost meeting in worry lines.

Her Alpha King

Her Alpha King

The scent of vanilla, chocolate, and caramelized sugar wafted through the air, blending harmoniously with the hint of cinnamon that Jennifer was carefully sprinkling on top. “Should I sprinkle the cinnamon on it like this?” Jennifer, one of the bakers, asked me. “Yes, just like that, but a little lighter, please,” I instructed, watching as she delicately adjusted her technique. The cinnamon added a perfect touch of warmth and spice, complementing the sweet aroma that filled the bakery.

Help! I don't want to be the female lead

Help! I don't want to be the female lead

Smiling at the couple, she added, “We wanted to ask for your help, but both of you are a little too late for that. The cinnamon ones are done. Have a taste and let me know how it is.” Grimacing, Eugene uttered, “the two of you are cooking?”. Seraphine nodded and vocalized, “Yeah, just like the good old days.” Sharon picked up a freshly baked cookie, and the delicious scent wafted into her nostrils before she took a bite out of it. However, the taste was far from how it appeared to be, and she instantly spat it out in reaction. The cookie had a strong taste of cinnamon, indicating how more than necessary was added, and the salt too exceeded the limit.

The journey from Servant to Wife

The journey from Servant to Wife

I tried my best and finally finished shaping the cookies to put them in the oven. Just as I took the fragrant cakes out of the oven, the hourglass also dropped the last grains of sand. Mrs. White coldly shook the bell to signal that the time was up. At that time, the five of us immediately brought five delicious cookie plates that we had just made to the living room for Mrs. Laurie, Mrs. Stella, and Mrs. Luna to enjoy and review.

Red Velvet & Anemones (Pagosa Cliff, Book One)

Red Velvet & Anemones (Pagosa Cliff, Book One)

As Milli iced the gingerbread cookies Aunt Elizabeth had volun-told her to make, she struggled with the pain. It had only been a little over a month since her world went to heck in a cake box. She had spent two days decorating gingerbread cookies. Camille had asked for help from the Women’s Auxiliary since the diving coach wasn’t much of a baker and the dive team needed a fundraiser for the Winter Carnival and were assigned the cakewalk and bake sale booths. Every cookie brought back a memory of home Milli didn’t want to remember, and she ruined half of what she baked before she found her groove. She decorated the traditional cookies with red, blue, or green scarves and hats, then added whit

THE RUNAWAY LUNA

THE RUNAWAY LUNA

Thinking of the mission they had ahead. She didn't hear the door open nor did she saw Cassandra entering the room. Cassie looked at the coffee sitting at the table and walked over to join Mulan. “So what's the plan?” She asked Mulan raised her head up and replied “we leave by 9pm, so we can watch the soldier's routine for a while before you break in, you will have to try as much as possible to be discreet and have your earpods connected always” her last words earned her a side eye from Cassandra. Mulan raised her hands up in surrender giggling.

The Runaway's Replacement

The Runaway's Replacement

"Get out before I do something I regret." Piper's smile disappeared, and she quickly turned and ran into the mansion. Harrison's mouth dropped open as he watched her go, still surprised by what had just happened. "She annoys me," he said, his teeth clenched in frustration. Adrian whispered, "Don't do anything that could get you in trouble, Sir. Let others handle the messy stuff." Harrison nodded, still looking at the spot where Piper had gone. He knew Adrian was right - if he wanted to be Chairperson, he couldn't afford to get in trouble.
