Runaway Wolf

Runaway Wolf

she said, looking at the dog circling around the yard. The dog ran around the courtyard in front of a small two-story cottage, sniffing and looking around. There was not much free space around the house: a couple of meters from the building to the border with the neighboring plot. The dog sat down near the threshold and looked back at her over his shoulder. And his gaze was somehow cunning and mischievous.

she whispered, as she dropped the forbidden ingredient into the mix. Sébastien liked his coffee as bitter as possible. No sugar, No milk. But Michelle made Scar add sugar. Scarlet raised an eyebrow, but followed Michelle's instructions to the letter. After the coffee was brewed, Scar took up the cup and saw the wicked smile playing on Michelle’s lips. "Now, go and present this masterpiece to the boss. Let's see if he notices the little surprise." Scar was a bit hesitant at the wicked glint flashing in the bimbo’s eyes but she shrugged it off.

The Runaway Bride

The Runaway Bride

“Now, if you’re interested in helping me get rid of them, just let me know. I’m here for you, honey.” Cristine left the office, leaving Virginia alone. Virginia poured herself another drink and downed it in a single gulp. It wasn’t just about maintaining that massive lie anymore—now there was something else at stake, something she was also interested in: a supposed treasure left behind by Fernando’s grandfather.

Why? Because your fiancé isn't who you think he is. A distant shout, now closer, echoed. Larris clutched her hand once more. Move. She hesitated. Then she heard Desmond's voice, angry, ordering. Bring her to me, NOW! Her decision was instantaneous. She ran with Larris They ran down alleys, puddles splashing below their feet, as rain turned the whole city into a glowing smear of streetlights and danger. Larris led her to a basement garage behind an abandoned laundromat. He unlocked a dusty car, ushered her inside, and sped off just as the guards rounded the corner.

We Are Destined Mates

We Are Destined Mates

The news of the runs spreads through the pack like wildfire, and people start to get prepared for it. When I tell Patrick and Carrie about the run, they become absolutely elated. “About time,” Patrick comments, “I was wondering when we were going to have another run.” “I wish the Alpha did it every moon,” Carrie replies as she pours a bucket of molten metal into a mold. “What do you do in other full moons when you’re not running?” I question, curious to know about their traditions.

I shook off those recollections and focused on the upcoming run. “There’s something I need to ask,” I whispered. He leaned into my side. “What is it?” “Will we be able to breathe down… you know?” He nodded. “You’ll see when you get there.” We lingered in Coyote Willy for another hour before the first of the pack slid off their bar stools and walked out of the door. The atmosphere was charged with nerves. This was going to be the last run, and everyone wanted to get it right.

Run, Little Heir

Run, Little Heir

The high-society crowd would be operating their customized rovers and pacing their mounts during the late afternoon, leaving the mid-morning sector significantly quieter. Naturally, there was the added operational hazard of lower-tier pack omegas and their young pups running erratic training paths where one least anticipated them, adolescent wolves chasing waterfowl, and undisciplined hunting hounds pursuing both variables—but if I pushed my mount further away from the High Luna Court perimeter and the central water reservoir, the terrain should be adequately isolated. I descended the metallic staircase, the long protective skirt of my riding gear gathered securely over my forearm, and Derog

I didn’t wait to find out. I started running. And just like that, he ran too. Adrenaline took over. I sprinted as fast as I could, heart pounding so loudly I could barely hear anything else. In the chaos, the bag slipped from my hand. The cookie fell to the ground, rolling off the sidewalk and into the grass.

Rival Alphas: Dance of Desire

Rival Alphas: Dance of Desire

his mother broke the contemplative silence, "I think we've had enough heavy conversation for one day. How about something lighter?" She rose and opened a cabinet, pulling out a large tin filled with cookies. "These are my famous chocolate chip cookies," she said, offering the container to us. "Nothing solves life's problems like homemade cookies." As Clay eagerly grabbed a cookie, I couldn't help but chuckle. "Well, if this is part of the Luna training program, count me in." He winked at me as he took a satisfying bite, the chocolate melting and mixing with the emotions that colored the moment. "Trust me, the perks are one of the best parts."

After reading the prologue, I give this a 5-star rating. The author has successfully got my attention, albeit werewolves' stories are not my cup of tea. I can feel the love for the family of a father whose duty is to protect them all cost. Kudos!

I really enjoyed this continuation and I can’t wait to read the next book! I just have so many questions…also what of the King’s quadruplets!? Or perhaps there could be like a spin-off that can dive into the vampire side cause since the first book there has been no mention of Skaii’s sister!
