“Do you know how to drive? This is such a huge car, and it’s stopped right here. How did you still manage to hit right into it?” Zenios glared at Coraline furiously. Coraline looked apologetic. “Sorry, I’m really sorry, this tunnel hasn’t been fully built yet, so I thought there wouldn’t be any car in here and sneaked in to have fun. I didn’t expect that there would be someone here. Zenios, don’t be angry. I’ll pay for the damages.”

It was underground, the ceiling was constructed of multi-colored mosaic tiles that pieced together to depict a vibrant forest. "That is beautiful," I said, staring up at it. Daniel stopped walking to look up as well. "I forget that's there sometimes," he admitted. "Apparently Cain's mom had that done a while after he was born because it was too bland in here for her." My eyebrows furrowed as I took my attention from the ceiling and looked at Daniel. "His family owns a train station?" I asked. Daniel looked at me and smiled. "You're in his basement, sweetheart."

She went into the kitchen, ignoring her mother and uncle who were in some sort of heated argument. Those two were always arguing about something. They stopped talking and stared at her with wide eyes, as she went straight to the cupboard and pulled out her pearl globe. A gift she had gotten from her grandma on her fifteenth birthday. “Where are you going?” Her mother asked, following her out of the kitchen. “I have a fucking werewolf to find” She responded, and snapped around when her mum held her arm to stop her. “Don’t even try to stop me momma.”

I dropped to my knees immediately, reaching for the soaked notebook before the ink completely dissolved. Before my fingers could touch it, someone stepped in front of me. "Pick them up." The laughter around me vanished so suddenly that even I froze. Slowly, I lifted my head. Chaise Crownell stood there in his white lab coat, one hand resting inside his pocket as though he'd merely happened to pass by. His expression was the same calm, unreadable one I saw everyday but I could see the dangerous glint behind those blue eyes. Everyone in the faculty knew that look.

His eyes traveled over me with open interest. Then he smiled. “I have heard of her. So this is the former Luna of Moonridge.” I nodded politely. “I am Elara.” He looked back at Edwin. “I’ll be honest. I wasn’t expecting this.” Edwin’s expression remained blank.“Expecting what?” Evans chuckled. “A woman like her.” My stomach tightened as Edwin’s jaw shifted slightly. Evans turned his attention back to me. “I’ve heard you are no longer mated.”

She glared at him, “You should mark someone who isn’t Nicole James.” Aidan gave them one last glance before walking away, leaving them behind in those man-made silver cages, the kind of prison Nicole had placed the traitors across the forest of Luna Puer Mansion. It was heavily guarded with a pack of wolf guards full of fire arms and silver bullets.

Once in a while his eyes checked the ever-congested, until they finally stopped in front of a college called the University Of Coral, London. Celine didn't descend directly, she smiled as she saw a beautiful woman walking right in front of the edric car he was riding. "You're not coming down?" reproof Edric. "Look, it's professor Crystall!" Celine exclaimed excitedly, coming down and saying hello to her teacher, "Professor!" Next to Edric's eyebrow raised, he didn't care about Celine at first. However, when his eyeballs accidentally caught the lovely face of a familiar looking woman, Edric walked out of his car.

Looking over the decent-sized spread in front of us, Coraline tapped her chin in thought before picking up a toasted bagel slathered with cream cheese and directing it towards my mouth. “Here, have a bite first,” she told me, her brown eyes glinting with playful flirtiness for the first time ever. I obeyed without much thought, my mouth opening to sink my teeth into the chewy dough of the bread. The cream cheese smeared across my lips in the process but before I could run my tongue over it, Coraline was quick to cup my jaw in her small hand, lean forward, then dart out her own tongue to lick it off herself.
