Vows of sin

Vows of sin

The city was a beast that never slept, its breath a smoky haze mingling with the cold night air. From the balcony of my penthouse overlooking the sprawling metropolis, the lights below flickered like the dying embers of a war no one could avoid. Tomaso’s injury was a wound that bled into every corner of this city’s underworld — an empire on the edge of collapse, its pillars shaking beneath the weight of betrayal and ambition.

The Wolf’s Bride

The Wolf’s Bride

Although ancient, it stood majestically, even after being around for countless ages “Andrius.” Yvie introduced eagerly, “That’s Nightless City, the headquarters of the Immortal Cultivation Alliance. Let’s go.” Then, she bounced ahead. Andrius could not help but remember a line from the ‘Records of Profundity’ that read, “Where clouds and mountains stretch for miles, at the end of the sky lies the city without nightfall.” He could not believe that Nightless City existed and was the headquarters of the Immortal Cultivation Alliance.

Pregnant and Rejected by My Alpha Mate

Pregnant and Rejected by My Alpha Mate

Clearly the younger man’s opinion about sharing this information was overruled. “He plans on taking over the pack. And then he plans on claiming you for himself.” ____________________ Bastien This city is a nightmare. I crossed into Tartarus late last night, and though the city seemed bleak and dim in the darkness, I told myself things would probably look better in the light of day. Oh how wrong I was. It turns out the night’s shadowy cover obscured the sprawling metropolis’s worst blemishes, rather than exaggerating them.

Excellent read, great character development and wonderful storyline! It was hard to put down! It made me happy, scared, mad & angry as h*ll and that is a sign of a good book! When reading I could actually visualize the scenes that’s how well written it is!! I definitely recommend this book!!

I wouldn't normally spoil but the Chapter-Arabella finds a phone: now Arabella has both of them!! This is the normal now from the chapter where Bastien arrives in Tartarus! Chapter after chapter of ridiculous nonsense especially after Selene gets her powers!! Don't waste your time and money skip it!

The Mafia’s Reckoning

The Mafia’s Reckoning

Chapter Twenty-Seven The night pressed down like a heavy blanket, suffocating the city in its cold embrace. Alex sat in his office, the city lights far below flickering like distant stars in a world he no longer recognized. The walls seemed to close in around him as he stared out the window, trying to make sense of everything. The world he had built was unraveling at a pace he hadn’t anticipated. Diego’s betrayal, a knife twisted into his back, was still fresh, its sting raw and undeniable.

His Forbidden Truth

His Forbidden Truth

Chapter 197: Ashes of the Old Order The city had not seen nightfall. Though the sun had long dipped behind the ridges of Illimani, La Paz glowed as though lit by a second dawn. The Monument pulsed with fire—crimson veins streaking into the heavens—while thousands of candles dotted every plaza, alley, and balcony. The hymn still lingered in the air, carried on the breath of people who refused to be silenced. But for the council, the night was darker than any in memory.

Scarred Roses, Burning Vengeance

Scarred Roses, Burning Vengeance

What if I could take her away from all her unhappiness and make her love me? My restlessness caused me to go to the restaurant's bar, where I sat drinking for a while. Vieuti was a city that never slept, and hoping there would be some distraction on the outside, I paid the bill and stepped into the cool night air, the city's pulse reaching my eyes like the blur that psychedelics inflicted on those addicted to their addicts. Yes. Damian Blackwood owned this city. A small shower had fallen while I lay inside, and the neon lights now cast jagged, colourful reflections on the wet pavement. For some reason, the distant wail of a passing siren from afar reminded me that this was a place where pred

 The Second Chance Werewolf

The Second Chance Werewolf

'Every person has some good inside them no matter how flawed they are, we just need to tap into that,' I told her and she exhaled 'I still can't reach, Saga, so awful!' She pouts, I roll my eyes and sit down, already the vines are entwining my legs to keep me in place. The shadow is close and I can feel her gaze on me "Hey," "Hi, Alexei," "Bored again today, I see," "Tell me about your city," Her enchanting voice asked. Has she never been to the city? Which part of the world do they belong to? "The Lycan City is humongous! It has over fifty developed packs in it with skyscrapers and huge bridges, lights that illuminate brighter like the stars, and even when it's dark you can't tell... Most t

The Cursed Alpha’s Daughter

The Cursed Alpha’s Daughter

The City of Night. It unfolded before us like a secret—towers of obsidian with windows that glowed like starlight trapped in fragile glass. Canals wound through the city like veins, black water reflecting the shimmer of floating lanterns. There were no street lamps—just suspended orbs of flame-less light drifting in still air. Everything was too clean. Too symmetrical. A dreary kind of beauty. It felt like walking into a trap built by angels. The docks groaned as the ship pulled in.

DANGEROUS LIAISONS

DANGEROUS LIAISONS

LAILA’S POV The city transformed under the cloak of night, revealing a different character altogether. It appeared cleaner, its edges sharper and more pronounced. The air felt colder, sharp enough to pierce the skin. And somehow, there was an honesty to it, as if the darkness was stripping away the pretense. From the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows of my hotel suite, the cityscape sprawled before me like a vast tapestry of lights. They twinkled endlessly, mimicking stars scattered across a cold and indifferent sky, each one a flicker of something deceptively enchanting.
