Transmuted : Love Of An Evening

Transmuted : Love Of An Evening

"So, what did you find?" Ray opens his computer. "Listen. We both know that the cyber security of The Conditorem is super secure. But I hacked their website after spending two hours and encrypted the keystrokes and added some antiviruses, so they can't track me back," he holds out some printed notes. "You ever heard of the Protectors?" Lynn glances at the pages, thinking deep. "The Protectors mainly keep the informations of their agents, their programs, their scientific technologies. I guess there are seven of them total, as I heard. I don't know what their names are or how they keep all the data, but maybe I know who can help us."

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

“It is you they feed from,” Hazel said, giving me a head nod. “You must choose 4 cities or towns for them to protect.” “This was a lot of pressure; I didn’t want to make decisions like this. “Can’t we protect the entire world or nation?” I asked, sounding disappointed by this choice. “It does not work like that,” Aura said, a frown appearing on her lips. “Protecting the earth, which is what we normally do, does not protect your people. We can only protect the earth by preventing darkness from harming it any further than it already has. When darkness was conjured, it cracked the earth. I must spend time nurturing her and putting her back together. I must breathe life back into her. I can pro

After leaving a review for the "prequel" to this I realized I never reviewed this book!! I really love this book, and how much you can really feel for the characters and the amount of unexpected turn of events is extremely intriguing and captivating (I'm usually good at predictions lol).Must read!

Readers can’t honestly engulf in the story. Although we appreciate the author, only 1 chapter is uploaded PER DAY with a 1-2 minute read. It’s frustrating when you’ve breezed through a book, and are so hype for it, & all of the sudden hit a wall. The stop & go is upsetting not suspenseful. Loses us.

PROTECTED BY THE WEREWOLF

PROTECTED BY THE WEREWOLF

“We assumed he wouldn't attack in broad daylight, but the police say Sharpe was killed a few hours ago. He's more dangerous than we know. I'm guessing you couldn't convince Frances to call off the dig... - No way. “Then we need to secure the site, round-the-clock surveillance. “I agree,” Pietra said. “And if we're dealing with a magical wolf, we'll need some sort of magical protection. - What do you mean? “I can't believe I'm suggesting this, but maybe Clara has some charms or spells or things that could help protect us. Pietra glanced at her watch. “By the time I got back to town, she had already closed up shop. But I'll be back tomorrow. Caleb picked up his helmet. “I'm heading back to the

Under the Dragon's Protection

Under the Dragon's Protection

Iris revealed. Dom couldn't control his curiosity and wonder, "You were one of THE Human Protectors of the Realm? Woah!" Iris smiled lightly at her mate's dropped jaw like a kid being told that Alice's wonderland was real. Dom saw the faint hint of a smile on his beautiful mate's lips and his heart rested. He was doing a good enough job to keep her feeling comforted. Iris continued, she had to get all of this off of her chest, "Well, I was, until I got bitten." That got Dom's immediate attention.

The Pureblood Luna And Her Protector

The Pureblood Luna And Her Protector

If bold Gareth hungered for battle, our enemy would soon wish they had never stirred such fell purpose! "Jake! Come here." I called him from the knot of patrol lieutenants to stand at rigid attention, ink black hair sweeping his shoulders in twin plaits. I rested both hands firmly on Jake's sturdy form. Here stood my right hand, tireless defender guarding these cherished borders day and night the past decade. None boasted a deeper wellspring of devotion towards our wild refuge.

ALANNAH: HIS PROTECTOR

ALANNAH: HIS PROTECTOR

I said and I heard him release a breath of relief. “I’ll let you know when I have anything else to say, for now just stay safe. Plus, I’ll be dispersing some officers from over there to the house. You all need all the protection you can get and don’t worry, they’ll be undercover so you don’t have to worry about their doting. I’d send you the details of each of them Incase an outsider tries to act funny.” He finally finished saying and I thanked him. What would I have done without these people around me. I picked my phone up again to call Nanny McPhee.

The Dark Protector

The Dark Protector

“Dragon, remember? I’m not a human that turns into a dragon. I’m a dragon that turns into a human. I’m always the dragon, so my senses are always heightened. When you were unconscious, I smelled you to see what had happened to you. I smelled the poison in your system, got the scent of the ones that did that to you so I can kill them and found the scent of your family member. I didn’t know it was your brother, but I could tell from the scent of the meadow that the person was related.” There was a lot to unpack in that diatribe, but what stood out to me most is what came out of my mouth. “You’re going to kill the ones that imprisoned me? Why?” He steps away from me, running his hand through hi

Another fantastic story from author Cooper!! I highly recommend books by this author. The stories/characters are always original, compelling, stories are updated regularly, and are NEVER abandoned. As with other books in this, as well as The Guardian series, I thoroughly enjoyed The Dark Protector

Shelter

Shelter

“Still, it is highly dangerous. They are beginners and they are not deeply knowledgeable about how our world works. Their families did not even explain what they are and how much potential they possess.” Aloysius stood up and adjusted his suit. “Prepare the car, Mr. Grahamsz. I’m going to visit my good old friends.” The butler bowed and sighed. He already knows what that “visit” means. He pressed the intercom and stated a few instructions. “Prepare to seal Areas A and B. Notify authorities that Aloysius von Rochester will reserve the road. Also, contact DTL Inc. to repair the roads and infrastructure tomorrow…Yes. I know they just fixed the park but they already know what to do. Yes…”

Frequently Asked Questions

I always think about the nocturnal guys, the ones who have a nine-to-five but then throw on a mask after dark. Their personal sacrifice isn't a grand, one-time thing; it's a slow bleed. Missing birthdays, being too tired for a date, the constant worry on a partner's face. That's where the real balance happens—not in the big, flashy saves, but in the thousand tiny compromises. The heroism is the easy part, honestly. The sacrifice is living with the ghost of the person you could've been if you'd just chosen a normal life.

It reminds me of some web serials where the 'system' forces the protector to keep their identity secret, cutting them off from forming real bonds. The story becomes less about beating the monster and more about watching them navigate a world where they're simultaneously essential and utterly alone. That tension, the loneliness amidst the acclaim for their heroic deeds, feels more true to the archetype than any battle scene.
