I sigh and glance around quickly, running down the same way the boy had just gone. I stumble on a narrow hallway with doors and lockers on either side. The academy's old corridor is filled with shortcuts capable of teleporting students into different locations. I had encountered one of these on my first day at school. I'm still standing unsure which of the doors the boy walked through when once again I catch a glimpse of the boy's grey pants slipping into the ninth door.

The kind you find in a palace. To open one of these doors, Immense strength is needed as both doors must be pulled at once. Regal and Aiden, out of reflex, walked on opposite sides towards the door but were stopped by Tess. "I'll do it."

"Yeah." Pushing back my chair, I stood up, and he fell into step beside me as we made our way toward the door, every pair of eyes in the class following us. We walked through the hallways, and I led Aaron through the main parts of the school, pointing things out as we went. "That’s the library," I said, gesturing toward the large double doors on our left. "It’s usually quiet, except during finals when everyone suddenly remembers it exists." Aaron chuckled. "Good to know. Where do you spend most of your time?"

You watch One Piece. Suddenly, Lane stops before a completely unremarkable classroom. There is nothing written on the name-plate by the door. I pause at that, thinking it's odd, and Mr. Lane pushes the door open with a creak. "We're here!" he says. Desks and chairs were stacked up casually in one corner of the classroom. Maybe it was being used for storage? The stack was the only thing differentiating this room from all the others. There is nothing special about it. It is extremely normal.

All her lessons were going to be in one classroom, which included Homeroom. But a bit of a relief for her. At least she won't get to see a lot of students in her way.

Niko As I survey the room, I notice three distinct doors, each providing access in and out of this space. The first door, positioned at the back, swings open to reveal a cramped area filled with storage cupboards. Among the clutter, I spot an elderly woman nestled among the shadows, her presence almost hidden. She exudes an air of gentle vulnerability, with silver strands framing her soft, weathered face. Though her age marks her features, she radiates a sense of inherent harmlessness, as if shaped by years of quiet resilience.

As the tension in the room peaked and hope flickered anew, a student's excited voice cut through the heavy atmosphere. "Mrs. Meera, look! There's a hidden door here," the student exclaimed, pointing to a concealed panel in the wall. Meera's eyes widened in surprise, her heart racing with anticipation. She hurried towards the spot indicated by the student, her gaze fixed on the disguised door. It was intricately camouflaged, blending seamlessly with the rest of the wall, indicating it was meant to remain unseen.

(Cole’s POV) I follow behind Alpha Demetri and his son a short way across the main hall on the first floor. They stop at the first door they come to, the numbers 101A are screwed into the center. I stop a few feet from them as I have a preference for keeping my distance from everyone. I only get close to those I’ve observed for a while and I have a motive for learning from them. I can hear a short beep briefly before the sound of the door unlocking. Alpha pushes down on the handle and allows the door to swing open before looking back at me and encouraging me to enter.

Gives the Hogwarts vibes. To my right are a row of classroom doors, demarcated with a signboard on the top that indicates the class name. "Weapon Arts." Tessa looks at the sign on the door and then checks our routine sheet to make sure that we don't embarrass ourselves on the first day of our class. "This is it. Let's go." Tessa tells me and I follow her through the door to the interior of the classroom. My jaw drops instantly in awe of the interior architecture of the class. Forget that I ever said Hogwarts. This is spectacular!

When I opened the door, a blast of cold air hit me like a wave. It reminded me of that scary time after a really tough delivery, when I was shivering and truly thought that I might not make it. Matthew Smith's voice came from behind me, sounding totally surprised. "Shirley? It's freezing out there. Come on in!" He did not even seem to care that I was sporting a six-month old baby bump. He pushed me aside roughly, but he was super gentle with the person he was bringing inside.
