Classic Comedy Books Novels & Stories

Saturday class was a small group that morning. Some days the roster swelled to the point that we had to move to the library to fit everybody. When I had my druthers, though, I kept it in my own classroom. Easier and more comfortable for me to get stuff done in there without having to relocate, and frankly, the books I had on my shelf to keep bored students awake were better than what our librarian kept on stock. Calvin and Hobbes anthologies, Jack Handey's The Stench of Honolulu, or, for kids I trusted better, Gary Brodsky's The Art of Getting Even: The Do-It-Yourself Justice Manual. Some real gems in my collection.

shit. I close my locker door and bend down to pick my books. While i was doing it and pair of hand came into view and was picking my books too. “It’s okay i got this.” i tell the person without looking up. “No, i cant just leave a pretty girl like this.” i recognized that voice somewhere. I look up to see James smiling at me. Oh my gosh! “uh.. ” i did a nervous laugh. “y..you… pickles..” fudge! stupid. not pickles. “Not pickles. It.. its. okay.. i..i.. can do it myself..” My face must be red with embarrassment.

“Yeah, I guess you’re right. Even if I’m a walking disaster, at least I’m never boring. And who knows? Maybe all these little moments will add up to something pretty awesome in the end.” Gift grinned mischievously. “Absolutely! And hey, if all else fails, we can always write a book about our epic college misadventures and become famous for it. ‘The Chronicles of Clumsy College: Adventures in Chaos and Caffeine’ sounds like a bestseller, don’t you think?” We all burst into laughter again, the idea growing funnier by the second. The room was filled with an infectious energy, a blend of friendship, humor, and the thrill of discovering life’s unpredictable beauty.

Everyone scoffed. "Never mind" Clara said. "I quite anticipated. The Clara I knew will kill for just a place of balut." Joan chipped in defiantly and everyone burst out laughing. Clara sneered at them. I watched them until they laugh hysterically through the door. I focus on what was doing. It's really fun to been surrounded with friends right? Aside from the fact that they are rich, they are so humorous. I held my manual upright and peered through the I instructions carefully.

’’ Adamie clasped his palms together. ‘‘I’m definitely getting the booze!’’ Andy said. ‘‘Drunk mofo,’’ Adamie replied, ‘‘Y’all remember that time Andy’ got so drunk at Brian’s party then he puked on the buff DJ and got his ass beat?’’ All of them apart from Andy burst into laughter. ‘‘Well, I’m better than fat Robert who passed out after taking two Oxycontine pills then got a dick drawn on his plumpy cheeks.’’ Andy defended.
