Being Alive

Being Alive

The lesson started. It was boring, until Mrs. Brown told us: “So, right now, you have one work to do! You have to divide into groups. 2 students in one group. You can choose one classroom and measure the length and the width of the walls. Not the exact numbers, but still! And in the end you should find out the room area!” “You have to choose from these classrooms!” she continued and showed us the list of the classrooms. I got to be in one group with Alison, who was sitting alone as well. When we got to the list to choose the classroom, there was only one room left. It was a gym.

The Fallen Angel

The Fallen Angel

Now that Vantae and Jamie are added to the mix, it went a few notches up. At least the seating arrangement was bearable. They had three columns with three desks in the middle, while the outer ones had two desks. There were five rows of desks running per column. Timothy and Vantae took the two seats at the second last position, and adjacent to them sat the girls with Jamie in the middle. Jamie looked to his side at Sofia, "Well, Is there something wrong with them or us?" Sofia shook her head, pointing to three of them (boys), "Sweetie, when y'all enter the classroom, looking like a whole damn meal. This is supposed to happen". Jamie laughed, his eyes turning into crescents. Scarlet pinched hi

And like that, we were in front of my quarters at the east end of the long walkway. “Let’s get in,” he said. “Wow, a huge flat screen television, and is that a game console?” he asked, with a hint of excitement. “Yeah, it is a Playbox series R pro infinity edition” “What the heck is that!? What type of naming sense is that?” he replied, laughing hysterically. “Okay now, let’s get to class”. Then he said; “System, take us to the realm of infinity.”

An Angels Betrayal

An Angels Betrayal

He was smiling brightly, his gorgeous eyes focused on us. “History?” We knodded and all three of us walked to class together. Stuttgart was really hot. Actually, the correct term was gorgeous, with a big bone structure, broad shoulders, tall and thin but muscular, and with his dark complexion, it made quite a sight. I drew in my breath when I saw just how big the classroom was. It was huge formed like the old greek gladiator arena’s. In the middle of desks climbing up the wall, there was a desk that was surely the teachers, packed with stacks of paper. I sat in one of the desks in the top row, way at the back, Thentos next to me on my right, and Stuttgart on my left.

He wouldn't let me carry my own bag, and I didn't complain as we walked to class. Since it was homeroom, people didn't seem keen on actually behaving. Our teacher took down our attendance and then let us do whatever. I could see Summer itching to ask me questions, but she didn't get to. The bell, for first period, interrupted her, so she settled for sliding me a note while we sat in Biology. What’s up with you and Six? I read it before replying with nothing. She audibly snorted before writing back. That's not what we, and the entire school, think.

Redemption’s Sweet Surprise

Redemption’s Sweet Surprise

He held a leather folio containing his metrics. Ms. Alvarez, a warm woman in her forties with kind eyes, greeted us. "Mr. Vance, Ms. Richards, come in!" The classroom was a cheerful chaos of low tables, construction paper, and the faint smell of clay and graham crackers. Luther’s eyes swept the room, instantly cataloging exits, potential safety hazards (a slightly wobbly bookshelf), and educational resources. He sat in a small chair at Keila’s table, his knees nearly at his chest, his posture rigid.

Chasing the moon

Chasing the moon

I was so relieved that I don't have to pay the heavy fees here all thanks to the scholarship. When I entered my class, it was already filled with many students. My class was big enough to fit 60 to 70 students. My benches inside my class were divided into 3 rows. I took a seat on the 3 rd bench of the middle row. I guess 20 students could fit into each row and 5 on each bench. I always liked to calculate the surrounding things. One habit I was very proud of.

His Ex Mistress, His Enemy

His Ex Mistress, His Enemy

The faint scent of lemon cleanser hung in the air like we’d walked into a live-action Scandinavian furniture catalog. Zane strolled behind me, unhurried, while Ash clung to him like an over-caffeinated koala. I could hear their quiet exchange, Zane answering every one of Ash’s endless questions as if he were an expert on why fire trucks had to be red instead of purple or why babies didn’t have teeth but still managed to be terrifying. “We have four core classrooms depending on age,” Lara chirped, her enthusiasm far too caffeinated for this hour. “Ash will join the three-to-four group, our Sunbeam Class. We focus on exploratory and sensory-based learning, so everything here is hands-on.”

Hello guys, my connection’s finally back to normal! I’m so sorry once again—the storm really messed things up and the recent chapters weren’t as good as I wanted them to be. I’ve already re-edited the previous chapters that had errors, but my editor hasn’t confirmed the updates yet. Please bear with

Rejected Luna

Rejected Luna

Jihoon grimaced at the long rip in the calf of his beige pants. He’d had a growth spurt the past year, making him the tallest in his class. It also made him unintentionally clumsy. The school was a U-shaped building with long narrow hallways, lined on one side by classrooms and on the other by wide windows facing the inner courtyard and sports fields. The building was old, and there was no central heat to warm the halls in the brisk fall chill. They snuck into the back of the classroom with ten minutes left in homeroom. The teacher, Miss Kwon, was still addressing the class.

The Alpha and His Killer

The Alpha and His Killer

, She smiled warmly at the man behind the desk. “Hello, Miss Graves. It’s lovely to meet you. Here is your pass and schedule and a map of the school”, he handed her the items and she fixed the pass around her neck. Her classroom would be on the second floor, building A. The complex was so large it was split into four different building - all of them connected only by the large square courtyard in the middle. Her classroom wasn’t difficult to find, however she was surprised by its size. There had to be around forty desks in the room. The walls were empty of any work for the new year starting.
