He gave a subtle nod. They moved together. The office inside was larger than expected. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the city, muted sunlight filtering through partially drawn blinds. Shelves lined the walls, files, ledgers, encrypted drives. Everything meticulously organized.

But under Elena's gaze, he couldn't bring himself to refuse. He could only nod helplessly. Elena hurried out the door to catch the bus. Alex pov I’ve always known the Elites have their separate world, but being thrust into it felt surreal. They had their separate classes. The classrooms were decorated beautifully, rivaling most of the students' parlours at their various homes. The air condition, that's seen in only the staff offices where mounted all round the Elites quarters, plus everybody have their own personal system and seats that are permanently for you.
