Second Bloom

Second Bloom

Secondary school's second year has a different quality from the first. The first year is the year of orientation — finding where you are in relation to the new institution, the new teachers, the new configuration of knowledge. The second year is where the doing begins. Jordi in his second year has found his positions and is operating from them with the confidence of someone who understands the terrain. Noa in her second year has finished her assessment of the curriculum and is now working, as she works with everything, from the understanding the assessment produced.

Bride by Debt

Bride by Debt

She led the way while the kids and I followed behind. She came to a stop and pointed to a class. “This will be Lovie’s class.” She said, smiling towards her. I scanned the classroom. Small colorful chairs surrounded grouped desks, while children’s drawings covered the walls beside alphabet charts and math posters. The room carried the warm chaos of a second-grade class. I nodded slowly. We continued walking and stopped in another classroom. “This will be Aaron’s classroom.” She gestured. I looked around the classroom. Rows of desks stretched across the room, notebooks and laptops scattered over them. A few students chatted in corners while others barely looked up from their phones.

As soon as she stepped inside, she noticed some unusual glances. When she looked over, her classmates quickly lowered their heads, as if trying to hide something. Elena didn't pay much attention. She calmly walked to her seat and sat down.

Clandestine Empire: Return of the Lost

Clandestine Empire: Return of the Lost

“There go the elites,” one of the students said sarcastically when they saw the elite class entered the classroom. They had been taking classes with them for a month but they find it hard to approach them since they acted like they have their own world. It was as if they were telling them that they are in a different league of their own. “I don’t have a problem with the other elites, so I don’t really know why I hate that green-haired guy,” Sean Jr., the eldest son of Baron Wyeth said with arrogance.

My Demon Life: Lucifer's Quest

My Demon Life: Lucifer's Quest

Iris: He got us. We closed the door behind us and left them for the classroom. Once again we stood there but now it's different. I could feel the pressure from the other side of the door. Drake opened the door and sure enough there was pressure. This time a whole bunch of fireballs in different colors looking awesomely fatal were waiting to be shot all aiming at us. We stood there by the door and facing off to all the current members of the Elite Tier class. (Except for the two we left behind and the worn-out Franz suffering from Depression.) They were all smiling and giggling and shouted in a loud voice.

I give 5 stars on all criteria! I love the story and I really felt like I'm watching an anime. If you are into fast progressing and an intriguing story - this is it! I don't know exactly what good words more to say, but this book got me so excited I want to read all of it in one breath!

Mate: Part Two

Mate: Part Two

“I should’ve come find you.” “Jane,” she smiles, looping her arm through mine, “you’re fine.” “No worries, I forgive you.” She said with a smile. She stepped forward and placed her arm through mine and we walked into class together. It’s my final class. After this—I get to see him again. Just the thought of it shifts something inside me. Riley and I took our seats as the second bell rang. The teacher then took a stand from behind their desk and looked at all of us.

His Second Chance

His Second Chance

She then exhaled deeply. The helpers approached Golder in a respectful manner while dressed in dresses of the purest white. They moved with elegance, and the room was filled with the gentle reverberation of their footsteps. As they assisted Golder in disrobing, their eyes were filled with a mixture of pity and respect. Golder found solace in the delicate touches that they provided. Despite the turbulence going on inside of her, Golder was grateful for their constant support. She had been raised alongside these assistants, who had been by her side since she was a youngster and had developed into like family to her over the course of that time.
