The Blood Moon was out, and the surge hit us hard. I was trapped under the wreckage of the den. Trapped right there with me was Lina, Kaius’s childhood sweetheart. Leo blinked slowly at the picture covering the entire screen. "What's her name again?" "Darby Miller. Isn't she beautiful?" She mused. Nodding his head hurriedly, he smiled tightly. "I guess she is. Let's go to sleep now, Aaron messed me up a bit with too much shots of tequila. I need to sleep."

She dashed into the din of the club. Alfred and his buddies danced with human girls at the edge of the dance floor, too preoccupied to see her. Where the hell was Caleb? But then the song ended and Alfred and Ross headed for their table; the only sound now was the noisy conversation all around her. Her skin prickled for an instant, but she could barely glimpse them, so she figured she was pretty well shielded unless the ceiling fans in the place circulated her scent to them. Nicol hurried to join Alfred and Ross. Alfred started speaking to them, his voice raised as he slammed an empty glass on the table. She moved closer to hear what the red leader was saying, but so many people congregated

“Alright! I’ll see you at Nobu Downtown. Night!” Cleo went silent, she regretted not asking directly, why need to wait till tomorrow. She tried her luck by going to G****e, typed ‘Lucas Miller business’. After going into one to another article, she retyped it into ‘Lucas Miller project consortium’ and within minutes, she found articles about it. She went to one article and saw a list of names there. It surprised her when she only found one female name on it, ‘Stephanie Young’. ‘Stephanie……’

Finally Nova is the last one left, I see Theo hesitating to call her on stage, I put my hand on his arm for him to call her as everyone was now getting hungry, we needed to end the ceremony soon. Theo stares at me warmly, he than looks at the crowd "for the last oath I now call Nova" he says her name rather fast. The crowd parts open for her, my brows raise at her entrance, she was wearing a black floor length dress, it was off shoulder with a thigh high cut at the left side. Her flaming hairs were curled and left open, spreading over her back, her eyes were lined with dark liner giving her a sultry look, she completed her look with a red lipstick.

We reached the gym area and instead of being amazed, I got annoyed at how the mysterious girl rolled her eyes at me. "Did you see that?" I asked Lilien and Claude. "See what?" Claude asked. "Yeah, I saw it. That woman with red hair just rolled her eyes at you, Kira." Lilien said. I crossed my arms around my chest. What the hell is her problem? "Do you know her?" I asked. "Yeah, she's Cleoanne Quinn, a real bitch from a pack on Finland." My brows crossed. She really looked like a real deal; a spoiled, rich kid, I supposed.

“But I’m on the committee.” “You’re officially the most dangerous woman in this zip code.” “I thought you were?” “I ceded the throne,” Cleo said, sweeping an arm with mock-royalty. “To a blazer-wearing icon who made a room full of billionaires squirm.” They sat on the edge of the quad’s fountain. Water danced behind them. Cleo sipped. “So what now?” “I help fix the mess. I try not to punch anyone. I figure out what being Sonia Vale means now.”
