I wheezed, clutching my side as blood seeped through my fingers.
Riley’s eyes darted around before locking onto something ahead. He grabbed my arm, pulling me forward. My eyes landed on the car parked at the edge of the road—Orin’s car, the same one they’d taken from my place.
“Keys?” I asked, my voice barely more than a croak.
He shook his head.
I glanced back, hearing the wolves crashing through the woods behind us. Without hesitation, I ripped off my jacket, wrapped it around my fist, and slammed it through the driver’s side window.
