Helena scrambled up and landed a hard slap on Claire's face. Moments later, a group of girls and teachers rushed in, trying to pull them apart. "You need to calm down, Helena," her father tried to reason with her but the brunette woman ignored him. The herd scrambled to run while Helix focused on the particular prey he wanted. Frena growled in anger as she watched Helix steal her prey which caused her to lunged forward abruptly. Ilena and Voyra followed suit behind as they caused Helix for their prey. “You fucker, where did you come from?!” Frena growled. He claws down his prey and it releases a cry out from the pain. “His mine, Frena.” Frena takes this opportunity to clamp down on the already wounded goat’s neck, spilling blood and giving the final blow.

I shook my head, “I—what? I didn't do anything! We were in a crash, Yasmine, a wolf—” Before I could finish, Yasmine lunged forward, grabbed a fistful of my hair and yanked me up to my feet. The sharp pain in my scalp made me gasp. “That little stunt you pulled at the game!” She hissed right into my face. “The official's kid! They followed us back, Trixie! The Northern pack retaliated!” My heart stopped. “No... it couldn't have—” Yasmine shoved me back down to the ground with everything she had. “It did!” She screamed, her voice cracking as a fresh wave of tears tracked through the dirt on her cheeks.

I tried again to get free. My leg was starting to hurt a lot more. Our wolves will heal us but broken bones can take a little longer. I tried one more time; my foot connected with something, and he let out a loud grunt. I crashed to the ground landing hard on my shoulder. To my horror, he grabbed my foot as I tried to crawl away.
