Claws on Ice

Claws on Ice

By the time I wandered downstairs, the smell of dinner was heavy in the air, and so was the sound of my parents' voices from the kitchen. “The Alpha is pushing for the eastern borders to be secured before the winter freeze,” Dad was saying, sipping from his coffee cup, “The beta families are getting restless about the hunting quotas.” “Well, he needs to finalize the alliance with the Northern pack first,” Mom replied, chopping vegetables, “If the line doesn't hold, the politics of the council won't matter anyway.” I slid onto a chair at the dining table, making a decent amount of noise, but they didn't even look my way, they just kept tossing pack politics back and forth.

Crowned by Claws

Crowned by Claws

"Camilla, you chose your own path. And those wolves… You ruined them yourself. You insisted on using your so-called comforts to strip away their claws. Once they lost their strength, of course, they’d treat you like currency to stay alive. Isn’t that only natural?" Camilla opened her mouth, ready to scream back, but before she could, the three former royal heirs had already stepped forward. They looked at the powerful army of wolves behind me, their eyes filled with jealousy and fear. Knowing they had no chance in a direct fight, the three of them exchanged a glance and made their decision. Without warning, they lunged forward together, targeting Cael at the front. Midair, I saw the glint of

BLOOD WAR

BLOOD WAR

“I’m not fighting for you, Lucien. I’m fighting for everyone who fell. But… if you want redemption, then come with me.” He nodded. A cold wind whipped past, his cloak billowing. Two figures (one hunter, one vampire) charged together into the crimson night. Behind them, Valenfort exploded. The bells of the Divine Tower rang once more, but this time not in mourning; this time they heralded the final battle. --- They reached the central square, where the Blood Gate was opening. Crimson light pierced the sky; shadowy forms rose from the earth: ancient entities sealed away thousands of years ago.

VOWS IN THE WAR ROOM

VOWS IN THE WAR ROOM

Renaud’s POV I did not sleep. That was not unusual. Sleep and I had never been loyal to each other. But that night there was no even pretense of rest, no shallow drift, and no clean break between one thought and the next. The house had changed after Claire’s note, and old houses resent change the way men like Hector resent exposure. They settle differently. They listen harder. They remember too much. I stood in the war room with my jacket off, tie discarded somewhere sensible, and looked again at the card Colette had brought.

Legendary General Vee's Revenge

Legendary General Vee's Revenge

The hangar erupted, not in a cheer, but in the terrifying, rhythmic clashing of shields and weapons. "Mount up!" I commanded. The war had finally moved from the shadows of Greeneland to the shores of Goma.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The First Crown erupted with light. Golden energy exploded across the battlefield. BOOOOOOOOM! The first wave of monsters disintegrated instantly. Then Rowan groaned. Then: "Why am I always following her?" Honestly? Fair. Very fair. Reasonable honestly. Then he charged too. Then Cassian. Then Valen. Then Eryx. The heirs collided with the darkness. And the final war truly began. BOOOOOOOOM! Energy exploded everywhere. The battlefield vanished beneath chaos. Ava cut through three monsters at once.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

The Chaos Wars

The Chaos Wars

I bend down to look at the signalling machine for faults. “X? Is that normal?” I turn around to see what he’s talking about, probably the black hole they have contained in the centre of the system. I was totally wrong. The first post was totally wrecked, and the rampage of what ever did this stretched as far as my eyes could see. Whole battle planets were reduced to chunks. I saw the trail of destruction was headed towards Le’uthara. “Ko'vren, forget the docking, head to Le’uthara... now!” The enemy had begun attacking again, this time on a higher scale. This was all out war. Someone decided to pick a fight with the Gentry. And by Fos, they were winning.

ALPHA CLAWS

ALPHA CLAWS

Asa’s jaw tightened at the thought of him. A soft knock at the door interrupted his thoughts. Asa didn’t move. “Come in,” he said, his voice low, the words carrying a quiet authority. The door creaked open, and Jax stepped inside. He hesitated near the threshold, his gaze flickering nervously to Asa before quickly dropping to the floor. The younger wolf’s unease was almost palpable, the faint tremor in his stance betraying his anxiety. Asa didn’t need to look at him to feel the nervous energy rolling off him in waves.

Clash of the Battle Valley Empires

Clash of the Battle Valley Empires

General Finn put down a book he was holding and walked over to where the king was seated. “Let the men go rest, we shall begin from there…” he was interrupted. “I went, duplicated the scroll of the clash of the battle empires, I made sure it was handed to him by the queen. Guess what happened.” he paused to see the shock on the men’s faces. “My, prince that scroll is as dangerous as a firing in the dry season. Bolivia could be burnt down.” Alpha George stood akimbo, “Tell me, he did not read it...” general Edward Thornfield asked, his hands on his mouth.

My Blood Wizard System

My Blood Wizard System

**Chapter 90 – Earthfall **March 16–18, 2031 – Celestial Court War Room to USSF Orbital Station Liberty Prime** The second wave never came. Instead, they went around us. Straight for Earth. Rowan’s face is ash-gray when he bursts into the war room at dawn, grimoire clutched tight, glasses fogged from sprinting the halls. **Rowan (voice flat, deadly):** “They feinted. The main swarm bypassed the perimeter.
