CATALINA Morning arrived dressed in gray clouds and a sluggish breeze. The kind of day that promised nothing and felt like it kept secrets. I sat at the edge of the garden café, the table carefully chosen far from the entrance, with just enough privacy. Karen had said she’d meet me here. I texted her the venue and time, but I didn't get a reply. I still came early, though. I ordered green tea because coffee felt too bold for the conversation I suspected we were about to have.

The sky had long surrendered to nightfall when Josh pulled his car to a gentle stop in front of a small café nestled at a sleepy street corner. From the outside, it seemed nothing out of the ordinary—just another cozy little place lost in the city's map of hundreds. Yellow string lights dangled under a weathered white canvas awning, swaying faintly in the breeze. We offer varieties of coffee from around the world. Asia. Africa. Europe and the US.” Jocelyn placed her bag on the table. Her gaze locked onto the waiter.

It was the silhouette of a black howling wolf with « Crossroad café » written with a bright yellow. She wondered what was the link between a wolf and a crossroads. The logo did not make sense to her. Old Al’ made a sound and she realized that she did not move, too engrossed by the beauty of the café. She joined them as the old man opened the door where a warm atmosphere welcomed them. Bianca got stuck again by the interior. It was everything that she liked. A rustic decoration with massive pieces of wood. A huge bar with an impressive range of drinks from coffee to strong alcohol.

Her gaze was fixed on a cafe on the corner. The cafe looked cozy, with a green canopy and the words “Dreamer Tavern” in bold brown letters on a white background hanging from the front end, as if calling out to her. It's an old-fashioned coffee shop, instead of being like a coffee shop, it's more like an old building that was misplaced in the middle of so tall shophouses.

The kind of place with mismatched chairs and chalkboard menus. We sat by the window, watching rain blur the city into watercolor. I ordered something called a “cloud latte” purely because it sounded soft. Alejandro ordered black coffee. “Of course you did,” I said. He shrugged. “I know who I am.” I stirred my drink thoughtfully. “You know, if anyone could pull off brooding espresso energy, it’s you.” “High praise.” After breakfast, we wandered. No plan. No map. Just following whatever caught my attention.

The cafe on Maple Street was alive with a quiet buzz. it's a small cozy cafe named'BAKE MY LOVE',. Ahh rubbish.. people do alot of weird stuff for the publicity and guess what this name sucks to me.. Although I didn't like the name of cafe still looking at the interior I visited inside.. It was a cozy cafe filled with light music and a shelf of books... at one wall there written loads of quotes... One of the lady came to take my order, I didn't look at her and ordered the weirdest dish which they were serving.. GOOSEBERRY CHEESECAKE
