Michael POV: I drove towards Iliac's Café, it is a thirty - Five minute drive but I got there in thirty , it was quite easy to find. I pulled up in their parking lot, the outside of the café looked so calm and the proper lightening made it look so aesthetically pleasing . The clouds was becoming sombre, it would most likely rain soon. I hurried into the Café. The floor was spotless, the walls were painted sepia, with decadent local arts hanging on every wall to exudes absolute serenity and exuberance.

On a whim, we ducked into the little cafe whose sign proudly proclaimed, "World's Best Hot Chocolate" So far, I was inclined to agree with the description. I looked around the cozy space and smiled. The cafe was called Rouge, and the interior consisted of varying shades of red. Red leather booths, red velvet rugs on the floor, and the walls were also painted a lighter shade of the same color. It should have been overwhelming but strangely, it was comforting. "And how is your coffee?" I asked Michael with a teasing grin, "It surely can't be as good as what Isabella and I ordered."

The Daily Dose Café - Two Days Later The smell of burnt espresso beans and wet wool was usually enough to mask anything here in the cafe, but today, it wasn't enough to mask Zara's exhaustion. She stood behind the counter of The Daily Dose, a cramped, humid coffee shop three blocks from campus that catered to sleep deprived students and budget conscious locals around the area. It was 3:00 PM on a Thursday. Outside, the sky was a bruised shade of purple, threatening another storm.

Staffs usually come at seven sharp. Stepping in, my eyes were immediately enticed by the whole new world. This was the nth time I entered the cafe and it never failed to amaze me. This cafe was like a fairytale where you could run to, to escape reality. The murals on each side of the room were so magical. It was filled with captivating flowers and mythical creatures such as unicorns, fairies, swans, pegasus, and a lot more. Some may find the cafe childish but that is the purpose of this cafe, to make you feel like a child. A child who does nothing but play, enjoy, to breathe without worrying about anything.

It made him speechless. After their morning jog the next day, Samuel sent Yvonne to her office, as usual. Then he went to The Jewel Building. This place was also dubbed the ‘UFO’ by the locals because its roof was in the shape of a giant disc, and the tower itself resembled a mushroom. It was a landmark of Cloud City. The Crystal Restaurant was housed at the top of the disc. It was Cloud City’s most established western dining place. If one wanted to eat at the Crystal, they would usually have to book a week ahead.

After about thirty minutes of intense concentration, Rafe remembered an incident with Mirabella. He remembered one of the times he and Mirabella went out in the mornings. They were still in their teens when Mirabella suggested that they find a unique hangout spot located near the ocean and name it 'klouds'. They would visit there often to have picnic dates, self defense lessons, romantic getaways and possibly hold their marriage ceremony there one day. That would be their secret hideouts and it belonged only to them. Rafe didn't think he had to told a soul about it. Not even his brother knew about 'klouds'. Ever Since losing Mirabella, he lost interest in things like that. It only made sense

With every step, they were inching towards the cafe – a haven where they could talk openly, away from the shadows that seemed to linger around them. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee greeted Rose as she and Max stepped into the quaint cafe. The soft hum of conversations and the gentle clinking of cups created a soothing ambiance that contrasted the outside world's chaos. They found a cozy corner, settled into their seats, and Max offered to get the drinks.

They were near the famous dandelions field and sunflower farm, a must see for tourists. Suddenly, his stomach churned at the rich filled coffee aroma lingered to where he was, as if the smell was intentionally inviting him to the café. He wanted to drown himself to alcohol but he couldn’t ignore the smell of coffee. Maybe, the café had other drinks to offer, as it shows ‘coffee and bar’ below the name. Wency gently stopped him. “I’ll check if they have table for you,” he said in his usual serious tone. Caden just shrugged his shoulders and trailed behind his bodyguard as they entered the café.
