Sebastian had one of the guards by the shirt, lifting him halfway off the ground, his expression darker than Kane had ever seen it.
Two other guards were trying to pull him back.
And Mona—
Kane's chest tightened.
She stood there, held by another guard, her face pale, her eyes wide with something that twisted something deep inside him.
Fear.
That was the only thing he saw.
And he hated it.
He moved straight for the man holding her and swung.
His fist connected with the guard's face with brutal precision.
The man dropped instantly.
Out cold.
Mona stumbled slightly as the grip on her disappeared, her eyes snapping to Kane.
