Men always didn’t know how to take even quarter of whatever the hell they gave out and it was so infuriating. As I stared broodingly at Kaden’s wall, I decided to go in and talk to him. When he opened the door wearing only pants hanging loosely on his waist,bobbing his head slowly to music from within and chomping on a chicken wing, I raised an eyebrow. "Don't you own a shirt?" I could never get used to seeing him shirtless all the time. It made my skin…tingle. And it was always super distracting if I was being honest.

I walked into the gym the next evening already nervous, my heart racing before I even saw them. The lights were low again, and the usual quiet hum of equipment was missing. When I stepped into the main training area, I froze. Jax was there, shirtless and ripped as always, tattoos gleaming under the lights. But he wasn’t alone. Standing next to him was another equally massive man, Kane. Just as tall, just as muscular, with a shaved head and sharp, dangerous eyes. Both of them looked at me like I was prey.

Today is the ceremony, and as I had promised him, I would be there. I watch him fixedly as he strode over. He has no shirt on, putting his toned six pack on display. His muscles are ripped, tempting me to run my hands down those muscular plane. Those khaki shorts he had on hang low. I tighten my thighs and Shawn coughs, I loosen them quickly, my face burning up as I try to stop from looking at my best friend in any other way than friendly. "Went for a run?" Shawn asked him when he's nearing.

Kaiden is shirtless, his shirt being used to staunch the blood flowing from his side. I gasp at the scene, "What the hell happened to you?"

“You’ve got to be kidding me…” Kane sighed, when Margo appeared in the bar. “What?” She asked, looking down at her clothes. “You’re not going out in that.” He huffed. “What’s wrong with what I am wearing?” She demanded. “Nothing! Except that every man out there is going to want what’s mine.” He growled as he took in the low cut backless shirt that showcased her cleavage and the tight leather pants that left very little to the imagination.

The bar is almost empty. Just low amber lights, a jazz trio packing up, and Alexander Kane at the far corner table like he owns the concept of dawn itself. He’s ditched the jacket. White shirt rolled to the elbows, exposing forearms corded with ink (black lines, Cyrillic letters, one thin white scar shaped like a crescent moon). He’s nursing something dark in a heavy crystal glass and watching the door like he already knows I’m coming.

I made sure to thoroughly cleanse my body, and I even decided to shave, wanting to be fully prepared should I decide to throw caution to the wind and indulge in our desires. Once I finished, I faced the dilemma of what to wear. I didn't want to appear as though I had put in too much effort, so I opted for an oversized sweatshirt that exposed one of my shoulders, almost revealing cleavage, paired with micro shorts. It struck a balance between sexy and comfortable, though I remained uncertain about Kane's intentions.

“Makes you an awesome mother. Are you hungry? I heated up some chili.” “Sounds good. But I need clothes.” Kane handed her a pair of black sweat pants, a plaid flannel shirt and a pair of white athletic socks. “Here you go, but there is one condition.” “Which is?” His fingertip trailed across the tops of her breasts. “No bra while you’re wearin’ my shirt.” “Why not?” “I like the idea of bein’ able to pop these buttons anytime I want and putting my hands on them. Or my mouth on them.”

His chest and abs were on full display—all defined muscle and tanned skin with a few scars scattered across them. "Wear this," he said, tossing me the shirt. "I'll go change up." I caught it automatically, my fingers curling into the soft fabric. "You plan to go shirtless?" "Yeah." He nodded, already washing his hands in the sink. "Why? You jealous?" I scoffed loudly, pulling his shirt over my head. It smelled like him—leather and pine and something distinctly Knox. "I won't be the one jealous. Axel will be." Knox chuckled, the sound deep and genuine. He shook the water from his hands and reached for my discarded skirt on the floor when we both heard it.

When I was done I got up and left the others whilst going up to prepare for school. An hour later I was already at the front of the man's wearing a black shirt and pants, not jeans. As I stepped out, I saw the pretty Kane giving instructions to two males. He was sweating like 'damn', Making me realise the real reason why he moves around shirtless, but what about the lack of a boxer? In no time, the two males nodded and left and sighed and turned around to leave; our gaze met, and he nodded at me. I returned the gesture and headed towards the parking lot. I don't know why, but I felt his gaze on my back throughout.
