The store was big and dream worthy, I have never seen something like this and I felt a bit of excitement as I looked around the place and I picked three books. Thankfully, there was a section for English books, and plenty of other language sections but I was glad to see English so I picked three different kinds of books and I went into the corner where Salvatore was already seated, in a mini library sort of place that kind of also looked like a private booth. I placed the books down and saw that he had bought two cups of coffee for us and warm muffins that still had steam coming out of them. Next to the muffins was a big bowl filled with jelly beans and all types of sweets (candy).

Buddy said as he turned his back and walked out of the bookstore. Shandall watched Buddy’s back and she sighed. She knew what Buddy wanted from her as she could feel his intense interest in her. Looking at Buddy, Shandall could not help to appreciate his good looks too but she wanted Seigfred more. She sighed again and shook her head. She then continued signing her books. Buddy returned with two cups of hot coffee from an international popular coffee shop in his hands. “Here you go Shandall. Have a break first. It is tiring to sign a thousand books, you know,” Buddy said grinning, which made Shandall laughed.

She rolled her eyes, tossing her ponytail as she spotted him through the café’s glass door, his slumped figure trudging toward Lily’s. I yanked my baseball cap lower, adjusting my oversized sunglasses, and spun my chair so my back was to the entrance. The bookshop was cozy, all warm wood tables and shelves stuffed with colorful spines, the air thick with coffee and that musty smell of old books. A couple of customers flipped through novels nearby, and the espresso machine hissed in the background. I grabbed my cappuccino, the foam tickling my lip as I took a quick sip. “Not happening, babe,” I shot back, keeping my voice low.

I demand when he steps into the elevator before the door could close. "I changed my mind." He shrugs, pocketing his hands as he leans on the wall opposite mine. "Whatever, just don't talk to me." I warn, resuming back to sipping on my carajillo. Of all shades of coffee, carajillo is the craziest; the shit tastes so divine, and I can't help wondering who sat down and thought of mixing coffee with alcohol, while Isaac Newton was busy staring at his father's apple tree. Who needs gravity when you can get high on coffee?

Faith’s POV I leave the café with my half-full cup of caramel goodness and decide to take a little detour to the park. I find a quiet spot under a tree and settle in with my book, The House Beyond The Gate. The warm coffee in my hand, the occasional rustle of the leaves... it should be peaceful, right? Instead, my mind refuses to cooperate. I take a sip, letting the sweetness settle in my chest, and sigh. Who was that stranger?

he replied, rounding to the driver’s side, “You still got in the car.” We drove to a small bookstore café he’d mentioned before, the kind of place tucked away on a quiet street, with glowing windows and shelves stacked so high you needed ladders to reach the top. The smell hit me as soon as we stepped inside, old paper, coffee, and something warm, like cinnamon. Hayden shook off the cold and looked around. “Alright, Coleen. You’re in your element now. Show me the magic of… uh…” He squinted at a display. “Whatever this is. Fantasy? Romance? Giant doorstops with dragons on the cover?”

She moved out of the kitchen, holding a coffee in one hand and a book in the other, her full attention on her book. It was her habit to read her favorite novels with a cup of coffee. She loved to read romance novels and was adamant that fairytales come true, love is real, and one day she would meet her prince just like all those girls in books.

Find Daniel. I entered the living room from the short hallway and didn't see him. I headed to the kitchen because I needed coffee first thing. I hope Daniel is also a caffeine believer because without my morning java, I was headed for a headache and a very bad mood. I rifled through the cabinets until I found what I was looking for, a single-serve coffee machine and some coffee pods. I found mugs and filled the unit with water after plugging it in. I went to the fridge to find some cream but all he had was milk. Beggars can't be choosers. Finding the spoons and a container of sugar on the counter, I waited somewhat impatiently for it to heat up and brew.

he muttered as he sipped his coffee. "Which is?" "Black. I love black, it's my favourite." He said and dropped the coffee on the table. "Wow," she said, now understanding why he wasn't stunned. "Favourite food?" "I don't have one, because I'm quite picky." He replied. "Books or movies?" He asked. "Books, of course! Books are way better than movies!" "Nah, that's a blatant lie." He countered. Autumn scoffed. "Really? Like, do you even hear yourself? Books are far better."

It's been forever since he had last had a coffee that is this plain . ********* Hey lovelies! Add my book to your library okay? It's time for some adventure .
