A Secretive Deal with My Billionaire Boss

A Secretive Deal with My Billionaire Boss

Gregory Ellingtonhead mistress lexi
She patted the spot next to her on the couch. "Come laugh with your old mother. The doctor said laughter is the best medicine." "Pretty sure he prescribed actual medicine," I said but settled in beside her. "Details, details." She waved dismissively. "Oh, this guy is hilarious. He does this bit about dating apps that'll make you cry." I curled my legs underneath me, grateful for the distraction. The comedian on screen was in the middle of a story about a disastrous blind date. "...so there I am, covered in spaghetti sauce, and she says, 'This isn't going to work. I'm gluten-free.'"

The book was strong but about half way I started noticing repetitive sentences or even paragraphs with slight difference, in the same chapter. Im noticing major inconsistencies with the story line now that im at chapter 411 and see the story has been "ongoing" for over a year. almost ready to turff.

Whatever the reason for delaying the update, giving us only 4 episodes per 10,12 days isn't enough. Give us at least 7 or 8 episodes please!! It should be worth waiting for so long. I always have to re read previous episodes to remember what was happening in the story before starting new ones sadly

Two Kingdoms, One Mate

Two Kingdoms, One Mate

Not to look stupid among them, or to further insult the Asian I had already insulted, I joined in the laughter, clapping my hands together in a manner that made me look like a clowed idiot. Fuck me! What have I gotten myself into? "Didn't I tell you she was crazy funny?" Benedict said between spasms of laughter. "Yes, she is." I glanced quickly at Benita, who was also recovering from the laughter. "You really should be a stand-up comedian. I'll buy the tickets to all your shows." 'Buy your ticket my foot!', I thought within me.

BITTEN BY FATE

BITTEN BY FATE

I heard a knock on my door and I immediately sat down on my office chair, pretended to be busy looking through some documents and then I said, “Come in.” The door opened and Boaz walked in, sniffling around. “Hey,” i said. “Are you a dog?” Boaz stopped what he was doing and shook his head. “Then Why are you sniffing around like one?” Boaz halted in his steps and said, “Alpha, I just thought I smelt a scent.” “What scent? Cause it's only me here.” I said. Boaz seemed perplexed but then he nodded, “Right, sir. Uhm…”

Bite

Bite

Finally, the bitch keels over and does the unimaginable. She laughs. Loud, raucous laughter. The sort of thing you find in bars or between a group of high school boys—it’s so echoey and unsettling that we genuinely have no clue what to do about it as it’s happening. So we let her finish, watching her hair crook forward and her entire body vibrate. I spot the Nester mark on her hand, and I only feel more unsettled. When she’s done, she comes up and wipes her eyes clean of tears. Through her receding laughs, she breathes, “Wait… are you guys being deadass right now?”

One Joke Too Many

One Joke Too Many

The room went dead quiet when I said I would take the prize, but that quiet did not last. A second later, laughter thundered through the air. Lily Smith was the loudest, doubling over with tears streaming from her eyes. "How else could she be the top seller?" she cackled. "A woman like her has to have skin as thick as a rhino." I ignored her snide comments and kept my cool. "Just to be clear," I said, "since the company so generously 'rewarded' me with bathroom duty, that's all I'll be doing for the next three days. Everything else is off my plate."

Bitten

Bitten

she informed us causing us all to laugh. “Me next,” Rian said. Jillie held the hat out to him, and he pulled a slip of paper. “What is your favorite position?” he read out loud. “Well, that’s easy. Doggy,” he answered, wagging his eyebrows. We all laughed, getting his joke. That is all of us except Kaileeh, Aaden, and Scarlett.

A Little Bit of Joy

A Little Bit of Joy

"Tell me to get lost when you don't want me to bug you anymore." "Never." He was smiling now even though his cheeks weren't rosy. I asked gently, "Does it hurt?" "Not now," he replied, adding, "With you." "And the award for the most corny sentence of the century goes to . . . " We both were laughing, although it hurt our bodies from shaking so much. Then slowly our laughter died down as we gazed out of the small window in a comfortable silence, clasping each other's hands and watching specks of dust settle on the lone leaf.
