Simple. Honest. Without pressure. I sat beside him. Neither of us spoke for a while. The silence wasn't uncomfortable anymore. It simply... Existed. Eventually, he reached for the television remote. "Movie?" "What are we watching?" "I have no idea." He scrolled through a dozen titles before stopping on an old comedy. Twenty minutes later... We were both laughing. Not because the movie was particularly funny. Because it was terrible. One scene was so unbelievably ridiculous that I laughed until tears filled my eyes.

That simple statement stayed with me. Because it was true. Life had become serious. Everything felt serious. Work. Money. Relationships. Responsibilities. Sometimes I forgot what it felt like to laugh simply because something was funny. Inside, the club was packed. People filled every table. The room buzzed with excitement. The smell of food and drinks mixed with the sound of conversation and laughter. The energy was contagious. Within minutes, I felt myself relaxing all over again. The comedians were fantastic. Some jokes were clever.

Elena wiped a tear of genuine laughter from the corner of her eye, looking at the two of them as if they were nothing more than low-budget clowns performing a thoroughly entertaining comedy routine. "Oh, Liam," Elena said, her conversational tone smooth, steady, and dripping with a terrifyingly calm confidence. "You and your little friend really are a masterpiece of comedy."

She called out immediately and he walked in with a wide smile on his face. "Oh so now you're a comedian" she said and he bursted out laughing. "Don't tell me we're going to be matching all the time this is actually not funny " she said. "We don't have to but sometimes we will" he said and she sighed. "Oh God" she whispered as she walked out back into the room. "What's it , it's cute " he said as he walked out. "No it's kooky " she replied and he just released a small chuckle.

She groaned in frustration. Shits !!! They weren't falling for it . " We're not falling for it . No " Hana said and smirked " I'm sorry .. aw.." she gave them her best puppy face and saw their shoulder sagging a little Good!! They were falling for it!! She crawled slowly to them and held their legs . " I'm sorry . I'm sorry . Okay? " She told them and bowed her head She start tickling them and they all fell to the floor laughing hard "Stop ...it.."Hana said in between hiccups

I joked lightly, and Serin rolled his eyes at my poor excuse of one. "Funny," he said humorlessly. I only cackled even harder. "No, seriously. You should step out of the corporate world and become a comedian with jokes like that." "Aw, come on, Serin." I followed him out of the house and into the backyard, where he walked out for some fresh air. "It was kind of funny, admit it!" "You need to admit yourself into a mental hospital with jokes like that." ###

"Where are we going, it's almost four pm.." I curiously asked her but she only gave me a small smile. We had literally spent the whole day in bed, showered then went downstairs for breakfast then came back up and just lazed around watch this very hilarious N*****x show called 'Chewing Gum' some sort of British comedy. I wasn't one for N*****x, never had time for it well not even television to be honest but Leona made me watch all these things. This girl literally nosebleed every time she was aroused-

For the first time in a long while, her laughter was very light and unburdened. Camille smirked, satisfied. “See? Even scumbags can have one use—they make good jokes.”

CHAPTER FORTY-SIX GRAHAM Ronald’s laughter filled my office, and echoed loudly like he had just heard the funniest joke of his life. I instinctively clenched my fists as I watched him wipe a tear from his eye, this time it was not nonexistent, then he shook his head again in amusement. “Man,” he exhaled, still chuckling, “You should really venture into comedy, you’ll make it.” I didn’t share in his amusement. My patience was already running thin, and the sound of his laughter only made my irritated grow further. “What the hell is so funny?” I snapped at him.

There would be plenty of times to talk after and during the movie. They chose a simple and light-hearted animation called “The uprising”. Steven who hadn't planned on enjoying the movie, found himself laughing at the absurdity of some scenes. At last, even Rick cracked a smile himself and seemed to relax. When the movie finished, Steven asked if he wanted to stay for another, and Rick lit up like Steven had offered him the world. Taking that as a yes, he paid for tickets for another light-hearted comedy, “Grandpa’s little warriors” which again made them laugh so hard that Rick appeared to have almost forgotten everything that had happened in the morning.
