Hey guys, I want to appreciate everyone who reads this book. It means a lot to me. Sooooo, I know some of you might not be happy with the end, but I want you to know it's just a story. And wait, remain calm! There's going to be book two. This is more like a prequel, an introduction to their love story. Book two is titled: Chasing her. It'll be out soon. Yes. Soon. You don't wanna miss book two, do you? 🤔

Good thing she knew how to read - her father had made sure of that - despite the fact she was always being locked up. Her nanny had told her only a few privileged people could read in the village and Roseline felt herself so lucky to be amongst those few. She stared keenly at the words written at the top of the book and it read: the principles of love and companionship. . Hm? She arched her brows and opened the first page and actually, she found the content interesting. It talked about love, the things lovers could do for each other, and how to have a successful companionship.

When she returned, she had a thick book in her hands. "What book is that?" he asked. "Ah, 'How to Love Yourself.'" "Aaah..." He also picked up the book he was reading. They sat in silence, only the sound of cups and sips of coffee filling the room. Engrossed in his reading, he chuckled at some scenes. When he glanced at his companion, she had fallen asleep, perhaps exhausted. He approached her and gently woke her. She was leaning back in the swivel chair, slightly open-mouthed. Whenever he got close to her, he couldn't help but be captivated. It was as if he wanted her to be undressed all the time.

Kelvin dragged his feet as he walked lazily towards his friends who had their chins burried into the large pile of books they were holding. That was when it crossed to his mind that he were to join them but he never did because of Hashmuk. “Am sorry, I didn’t mean not to join you guys yesterday. I was..” He apologized but he was cut short. “If you want to join us, then join. But unfortunately we are already done.” Harriet stood from the chair she was sitting on, grabbed her books and pulled the othes along with her. Kelvin was left all alone rooted at his place.

I growled. "She's not a beast!" Treddian exclaimed in horror. "She's your companion. No actually more than that. She's just an extension of you." "Will someone please get me some clothes!?" I shouted, trying to cover my body with my arms. "Erik said you might want this," Gabby's voice suddenly rang through the cave. She came hurrying in with a long robe and put it around my shoulders. "He figured it would be easier if you didn't have a whole outfit to rip through every time you change," she replied, with such a calm demeanor my jaw dropped.
