Novel & Cerita Completely Broken

My Grandma died some few years ago but not after telling me everything I have to know, not after leaving a great burden on my shoulders. It was after her death that I decided to relocate. Thea tried all her best to let me stay but I told her I had to leave for my own good. I know that it is bad and very coward of me to always relocate when I am betrayed. I know I should learn to face my demons but what can a broken person really do? What good can ever come out of a broken Pieces of heart? Thea even insisted to follow me here too but I immediately turned her down and explained things clearly to her and she eventually understood.

She was overwhelmed that had made it impossible to speak. Though, her thoughts got conveyed by her broken words. And Theodore had heard them too. He had broken his promise. He had promised never to hit her. And he had hit her. He had hit her. His Hazel... He had hit his own Hazel.. Theodore closed his eyes in excruciating writh. It took him sometime to compose himself. And this time when he opened his eyes, all the emotions from his eyes were gone. His face hard, disposing all signs of remorse away.

So hard that you could see my fingers on his face. "You deserve this." I spat at him. Marcus closed his eyes, "I'm so sorry." "No you are not." My eyes fleet towards my watch and I notice the time to be 4:30 PM. "I-I don't know how to make it upto you. How can I?" Marcus whispered frustrated. I looked at him shaking my head, "You can't. Because Marcus we are done. I am breaking up with you. And I hope I never see your face again..." I rose up dusting my pants, "I have a guy to hold onto right now."

Unpredictable Was exactly what it couldn’t handle. And exactly what it was trying to erase. “Then maybe your system is broken,” I said quietly. The threads pulsed sharply. A reaction. Small. But real. “System is optimal,” it replied. “No,” I said, shaking my head slowly. “It’s incomplete.” Another pause. Longer this time. Heavier. Because that word Incomplete Didn’t fit its structure. Didn’t align with its logic. And yet It couldn’t fully reject it. “Clarify,” it said.

Now they were ash. When I finally calmed down enough to look at Colton — really look at him — I saw something I wasn’t ready for. Pain. Longing. A desperate ache that made my chest tighten. He wanted to be the one comforting me. He wanted to be the one I ran to. He wanted to be the one I trusted. But I’m not ready for that. I’m not ready for him. I’m too broken for a mate bond. Too damaged for something that pure.

“God, Georgia, I want to believe you so badly. But you keep giving me reasons not to.” Her face crumpled, pain filling her eyes. And the moment the words left me, I hated myself more than I ever thought possible. Georgia’s voice cracked through the glass, broken and raw. “If you can’t believe me, Henry… then who will?”

I slammed my palm down, violently severing the transmission and leaving every communication device on the continent fried into a permanent state of static. The pipeline was initialized. The instruction was running. There was no undo button.

The silence that followed was heavy, absolute, and profoundly empty. Pim exhaled, her knees giving out as she slid down the side of the console. She felt the cool metal beneath her palms, the absence of the constant, sub-audible hum that had defined the penthouse for months. She was shivering, the adrenaline leaving her system in a sudden, sickening wave. "Is it done?" Chalida whispered, sitting on the floor nearby. The moonlight filtering through the broken window was the only illumination. "The server is scrap," Pim replied, her voice raspy. "The core is fried beyond recovery. There’s no data left to reconstruct."

The silence that followed was unbearable. Then I snapped. “Why the hell can’t anything go right for us?” I shouted, my voice echoing through the room. “Why does everything fall apart the moment we think we’ve won?” My father rubbed his face tiredly, looking older than he had ever been. “The compensation funds will not last,” he said quietly. “Soon… we will have nothing left.” The weight of his words crushed whatever was left of my composure. Before I could respond, the door burst open.

Somewhere deep in the fractured ruins of his mind, something small and desperate screamed. But he couldn't hear it anymore. The breaking was complete.
