The Space Between Moons

The Space Between Moons

"The opening paragraph positions Crescent Ridge as accommodating rather than equal. I want the tone of peers." "Agreed." She read the second amendment. Held it for a moment. "This one is language." "The word welcome implies we're receiving them as guests in our space. Meet is neutral. It's a formal discussion, not a hosting." She looked at the amendment. "You're right," she said. "I would have caught that on the next pass." "I know," he said. She looked at him. He looked at her with the expression that was the particular version she'd privately called the yes expression, and underneath it the layer that had been there all day — the complicated morning, the document about Caius, the briefing

The Alpha King Call Boy

The Alpha King Call Boy

“Really? I tried to pressure them into moving up the close date, but I didn’t actually think they’d give me the first date that I asked for.” Conrad pressed his fingertips together in front of his chest, making a steeple with his big hands. He looked to the right, studying a spot on the wall or perhaps visualizing something in its place. “Whatever you did,” he said, turning back to me, “it worked. Keep doing it.”

CONCEALMENT

CONCEALMENT

"To take the heat away." Looking over at him, my eyes now icy blue, I say while growling. "Personal... gain." He looked confused. I fought for dominance to explain it further. "Performing... a spell... to do something for me... is considered personal gain... Witches- good witches- can't perform personal gain spells." "But it's not-"

Falling for My Best Friend's Brother

Falling for My Best Friend's Brother

We had been working together long enough that we were starting to think about the same problems at the same time, which was either a sign of a good working partnership or a sign of something else, and I had stopped trying to decide which. "That sentence is still awkward," I said, pointing at the screen. "I know," he said. "I have rewritten it four times." "Try cutting the first clause entirely," I said. "Start from the second one." He tried it. He read it back. "Better," he said. "Much better," I said. He typed the change and saved it and leaned back in his chair. "The transition into the conclusion still feels abrupt to me," he said. "Like we are jumping from the analysis into the recommend

A very good story, takes its time building around the characters but it delivers. I love how all the characters feel humans, they fail and try again. Avary and Liam are just perfect for each other, the ending was great and being honest I want more of them haha. I feel like I miss its daily updates.

Thank you everyone for reading my book. Especially for the comments, gifts and gems so far. They are all very motivational to me. I'll be dropping 2-4 chapters daily as usual. Will Avery and Liam get back together? Or will she find someone better? ... Thanks once again for your support ...

Breed Me Daddy Alpha

Breed Me Daddy Alpha

Grace looked at my mother. My mother looked at me. “Tell him,” my mother said to Grace. Grace looked back at me. “The first carrier’s document,” she said. “The one your mother is reading right now. It describes the warm knowing — what the mark actually is, at the level before governance and politics and institutional history.” She paused. “The Contraction works by making the pack uncertain about the mark. It introduces a specific question into the community’s thinking: is this safe? And when people start asking that question in the Contraction’s language, the answer the Contraction provides feels reasonable. Feels responsible.”

Howl for Justice

Howl for Justice

The terms are mine; the choice, theirs. The opposing counsel's concession is reluctant, a mix of bitterness and relief that mirrors their expressions. I can almost taste their resignation as they nod, defeated but grateful to have an end in sight. The reality of their situation crashes over them, leaving nothing but acceptance in its wake. They concede to terms that were once unthinkable, and in doing so, seal my victory. The room fills with the sound of shuffling papers, of low murmurs and heavy sighs. I stand amidst it all, the eye of their resigned storm. Everything exactly as I planned.

The Luna He Abandoned

The Luna He Abandoned

I turned to page three of my notes. We were there for four more hours. I did not win every point. He pushed back on two of the smaller clauses with enough precision that I recognized the arguments were solid and conceded on one, which I had privately expected to concede on anyway. Vera's advisors contributed very little and spent most of the session looking at each other in the manner of people trying to determine whose responsibility this situation had become. Finn was, across the table, impossible to move on the things he had decided not to move on, and entirely without theatrics about the things he chose to concede. He did not use concession as performance. He conceded because the argumen

One Night Stand With My Boyfriend’s Twin

One Night Stand With My Boyfriend’s Twin

“He’s rewriting your words before your followers realize the difference.” The document was clean. Convincing. One version opened with a phrase that made my stomach churn: Those who do not conform to fire must surrender to silence. Another: Order is mercy disguised as discipline. Submission is not weakness it is wisdom. None of it mine. All of it written in my cadence, my phrasing, my tone. It was so well-crafted, even Michelle frowned as she read it aloud, her eyes darkening with every line. “This will spread faster than the original,” she said. “Because it promises control with the illusion of freedom.” I stood. “Then we strip the illusion.”

Hottest Man Alive

Hottest Man Alive

"Indeed, you are exaggerating, even though in your heart you must be happy. They sending sexy videos and photos like that!" "Oh my God, you're really going too far, huh? What if you were in my position? You still dare to say something like that?" Aiden immediately stopped his speech when he realized that everyone was watching them, including the cafe waiter. Everyone was whispering as if guessing what had happened. "Even if you say that, I still can't delete it. Because the story is already in the contract with the Writers and there's an agreement that can't be broken." "So, how?"

"I — yes. I know. But you agreed very quickly." "Because you're right," Dante said. "I was optimizing for legal defensibility and the legal defensibility is already established by everything else in the document. The Gorev section doesn't need to be defensible. It needs to be true." Elian looked at him for a moment. "You know," he said slowly, "most people, when they concede an argument, need a moment to look like they're not conceding." "I don't need that," Dante said.
