The Alpha Betrayed Mate

The Alpha Betrayed Mate

“That won’t happen.” Both women looked at me. “Zira isn’t going to betray us.” Aisha raised an eyebrow. “You sound very confident.” “I am.” “Why?” “Because I trust her.” Zira blinked slightly, clearly surprised by that statement. Aisha folded her arms. “You trust her?” “Yes.” “Based on what?” “Instinct.” Aisha snorted softly. “That’s not a reliable system.” “It’s the one I’m using.” Zira looked between us awkwardly.

It made me have to catch myself on the side of the bed as if squeaked beneath my weight. I came outside a few minutes later to find him on the phone again. Only this time it was to confirm if someone was sure. After nodding to himself, he slid into a car after leaving my door open, and we drove to our next destination. Once again I proved his point that I still trusted him as I followed him blindly. “Jackson…”

she answers quietly, and I look back out at the champions. The Glortinon looks nice. His hair is blonde and he has a good four inches on the dangerous looking Frole. "Have faith in your champion, Fiadh. He seems strong and confident, and even if he doesn't win...I am sure your feelings for him won't change, right? So that means no matter what, you know who you want. The Kea technology can heal just about anything. He will be fine. They are soldiers," Krystal says softly to ease Fiadh and I can't help but nod along with her words.

“Alright. So, we have a lot to do. Both Alec and I must be in all the interviews we do.” Adair frowns in confusion. I answered him. “Isabella is empathetic. She can alter people’s emotions so that they tell us the truth. And as you know, Adair, we can know if they are lying to us or not. In all the last interrogations, it has gone well.”

The Alpha's executioner

The Alpha's executioner

"Zev told me he couldn't sleep earlier." "He waited up for me." I swallow. "Said he was scared I got lost." "See?" Kael reaches over, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. The gesture is tender. It makes my skin prickle. "This is why I can't lose you. Not just for me. For them." I don't respond to that. I can't. "So," I say instead, "this tracker. Do you trust him?" Kael considers it. "He's got the best reputation in five territories. Never failed a contract. His success rate is… unnerving, actually."

Side Chick Era… Over

Side Chick Era… Over

Noticing her hesitation, Jamie said, "If you think I instructed Dr. Dole, then let's bring him here and confront him directly—with Uriah and Dr. Galen as witnesses. Dr. Dole has worked with Dr. Galen before; he wouldn't falsify anything just to help me. "You don't have to believe me—but can you really doubt Uriah and Dr. Galen?" Sharon's expression shifted slightly. Compared to Thomas, she indeed trusted Jamie less. Even though many things about the situation seemed off. But Dr. Galen and Uriah… they were reliable. Thinking this, Sharon reached for her phone, ready to call Dr. Dole.

You are doing a great job, I love how Sharon is against the high society circle. The story does not feel stale and repeated antics like most books but this one you don’t know what happens next. I’m rooting for Sharon and her friends to stick the middle finger to everyone who thought so little of her

I love the book. Love all the twists and turns, and particularly Sharon's will to not act like a coy, delicate, helpless person. She did not even cry once. I am hopeful that her angle with Thomas will be explored deeper. He is a perfect crazy billionaire, who could actually be her equal. Unlike ML.

He could feel her sorrow because of the mate bond, that was enough to convince him that she was indeed telling the truth. “I’ll help you.” he finally said. Kimberly couldn’t believe her ears. Was this stranger really willing to help her without knowing who she was or where she came from? That was really hard to believe, but deep down, she was convinced that he was sincere and she needed to trust him. Maybe that was hope, the hope of her getting out of this woods. “Thank you.” she whispered as a stray tear rolled down her cheek.

Conflicted

Conflicted

I reply while bouncing on the balls of my feet. Moments later our door opens and my mate walks in looking stressed. My smile dims and I meet him in the middle of our room. His arms wrap around my waist and my hands begin to rub his back. Just like they did when he shifted after throwing Rosy. "What's wrong," I whisper and he sighs. "Hilda is putting a massive amount of trust into two Alphas that I dislike," he growls and I step back so I can study his face. "Trust your sister Gunnar. She has been dealing with them for years. She wouldn't put trust into anyone that didn't earn it," I say while stroking his beard.

I was worried I was not going to like the book and while a lot of the beginning was cringy lol, I pushed through and glad I did! It was a captivating read even with the auctions and shitty people but as the story progressed, I couldn't put the book down! I'd happily read more of the authors stories.

Soo good! I fell in love with the characters and couldn't put it down! <3 I loved the way the characters had evolved from the first time you meet them to the end. Also, one of the characters, her name is Hilda, reminded me so much of Aveline from Dragon Age 2. *cough*Hilda needs her own book*cough*

she said. After I left the shop I decided to go to the local market before heading home. Thinking about what to cook tonight once inside going down the pasta side" Spaghetti and meatballs?" shiva asked " Sounds yummy " I said. Walking to the counter when I found everything I needed as I'm leaving I see the last people I don't wish to see walking in my direction were Sarah Ann Taylor, Bobby Jackson, and Tyler Scotts. Praying that they don't see me I hide my face in my hair a little and thank the goddess they didn't because I wouldn't be able I talk to anybody today" What about all day tomorrow? you have to see all of your pack tomorrow and talk to them too ? " shiva said making me more nervou
