The words were sharp, like a dagger poised to strike. Her laughter was bitter, laced with contempt. "You’re unbelievable. A complete scumbag. The first boy shrugged… "Why would they?" His voice dripped with contempt. "Nobody wants to be associated with trash." Another nod… Another laugh… Then one of them leaned back in his chair. "Think he'll come back?" A brief silence followed. Then… "He better not." The words came out sharp, not angry... Rather more disgusted. The very kind of disgust someone reserved for something they considered beneath them.

I thought to myself as I rolled my eyes in disgust, "What?" Mr. Katz who was confused by my carefree attitude asked, his eyes searching my face as he stared at me, I was certain he never expected my response, I knew what he wanted and wasn't going to bend to his will.

This man despised Zayn thoroughly and regarded himself as being superior and aloof to all living beings. More precisely, his contempt was applied not only to Zayn but everybody else in the house. A slow, mocking smirk began to curl on his cheek, a silent, cruel gesture that seemed designed to ridicule my claims, to press home the stark reminder of my perceived failure right before my very eyes. It was a sneer of utter contempt. “Ah yes, another delusional female.” He sighed, the words dripping with a profound, almost theatrical boredom, as if he had dealt with countless women just like me. Without another word, he simply brushed past me, his movement dismissive and cold. “The Butler would see you out.”
