I was signing away thirteen months of my life away to this child hearted man. Ruan stared at me, lips pressed in a tight frown. I gulped. " I agree" The man nodded, continuing. " That's good. The next class states that there will be no termination of the contract. If you sign it, you will be in it for 13 months no matter what. Also, you will publicly be acknowledged as husband and wife, you have no right to not treat him as your husband when in public.

“I’m leaving, I have no idea when I’ll be back, you are free to leave or stay if you wish to.” The look on his face was one of astonishment, clearly surprised by the fact that me, who was nothing but a drunk mess only minutes ago, was back to my senses now. “O-okay,” He responded, quickly stepping out of the way. Once in the car, I hit the engine, going at full speed and yet it didn’t seem to be fast enough. Max took his hand and gave him a firm shake. "This is my wife, Luna Amelia. Are the papers ready?" Max asked, looking like the powerful Alpha he was. He picked up a pen and signed the contract after reading it, and Mr. Aaron did the same thing. When they were done, I smiled..my eyes going through the contract. It was sealed now. They will never be at war again. Well, unless another blockhead like Ezekiel rises after hearing some cooked-up lies…which was never going to happen again as the humans promised.

I was more furious when I realized that the order was directly from the Alpha. “What really was he hoping to achieve from all of that?” I thought again, looking at him, only for him to take off his eyes at once. “Who were the servants you sent to get the phones?” The Alpha asked, and she remained silent, thinking about the right response to give to the question. “There were three of them, they were some of the servants who were placed in charge of the groups.” “I need some names! I need their names! I need to know them right now!” The Alpha barked at once, showing signs it displeasure, and the anger he had been struggling to hide gradually showcased itself.

I wondered how long he had been planning this out; it must have been a while. If I thought I had seen it all, the statement in the last paragraph changed that. “The contractor shall not break this contract for any reason else; /she/ stands to be punished by the contractee in any way he seems fit.” I placed the file on the table. I knew he was twisted; it should be no surprise, but this was beyond even my expectations. Alpha Maximus thundered angrily, and immediately Beta Steve fell to the floor in fear, trembling as his boss fumed in anger. "I apologize, Alpha. It won't happen again. "I will forgive you this time around, considering the fact that it's the first time you would make such a mistake. But next time, I won't be so nice!" Alpha Maximus scolded. 'Yes, Alpha," he bowed respectfully. "Steve, I faced a werewolf last night, unlike any I've encountered before," Alpha Maximus began, his voice carrying a weight of seriousness.

Max asked as he had had signed on something greater than four places in the dictionary level paperwork. “Yes, we are. You can go and start your candle light ceremony.” Paul replied, affirming to his insinuations. He had sealed it in writing, Max was no longer in the mafia and now only an Alpha Lord. I was ecstatic because I wouldn’t have to be burdened by the aftermath of the war that had been showing signs of starting soon.
